I assume at least one of two things happened:

  • The food quality became inedible trash.

  • The staff haven't been..... living up to expectations⛰️⛰️.... so to speak.

More restaurants with better quality wings , burgers and beers. Here in central Florida we have Twin peaks which is a better version of hooters.

I had it in sacremento, the pineapple habenero wings were a banger. waitresses were fun too

but from what i read, they are only expanding to red states. there are 0 in the NE and very few in blue states.

Was going to say something similar. My wife and I have no kids and are pretty much foodies. Bar and grill type restaurants are a dime a dozen. Soooooo many better options with little to no effort. The whole 'I'm going to park my ass next to you while you order' schtick has run it's course. Next

Twin Peaks is overpriced trash.

No menu, scan the QR, can't be assed to print/put a menu on the table.

The "waitress" only takes your order and then someone else runs everything.

Oh your beer has been empty for 5-10 minutes, "want another, baby?"

Repeat.

Be sure to tip!

I was in Boca for work a few years ago. All the guys in the office there were just giddy to take the out-of-towners to Twin Peaks or Tilted Kilt or whatever it was. I tried to tell them that every city has Hooters and all the knockoffs, but they were insistent that theirs was somehow better. Just like everything in South FL, everyone there thinks their shit is special, despite either being basic af or trashy.

Yea like all of the major areas have twin peaks or something similar nowadays so I can see that. Peaks on average seems to serve better food c cold beer than the other places with a solid atmosphere so it makes sense why they would be doing better than hooters, winghouse and titled kilt.
