Discussion -$596,000 today after tariff announcement. Purely coincidental the Wendy's app is hooking me up with a $1 JBC for dinner.

It will never cease to amaze me when people have enough money to never work again and have a great quality of life yet here they still are playing the game I hate

This person isn’t playing the game, at least not the one you’re playing. OP is invested in index funds that’s slightly weighted towards tech. He “only” lost 12% meanwhile WSB gamblers are currently losing their entire portfolios.

People who are rich still need to be invested in order to stay rich, otherwise inflation gets them.

Easy, because when I grinded to millionaire status I realized the shit started growing like weeds with little to no intervention on my part. Getting to $1 million took about a decade for me with lots of mistakes and lessons learned. Getting to $10 million took me nine more years with me riding on experience and realizing less is more when I trust my original intuition and stop second guessing myself.
