Does anyone know Why the Chinese super heavyweights seem to wear glasses more often, unlike the lighter classes?

Yeah duh, but it seems more prominently in the heavyweights than the lifters under 100kg.

Bigger people in general are more likely to spend more time sitting around looking at their phones than people who are more athletic (which makes their eyesight worsen faster), it takes effort to move that much mass around with you as well. Life is always more difficult on the heavier side - give them a break.
