I want to share you a success story!
Dan has been dealing with shoulder issues from a nerve injury for a long while. We worked together for 2 months and we had great success, greatly increasing strength which helped lead to some lifetime PRs. His rehab programmed was individualized to mesh with his weightlifting programming.
When asking for help, please include:
How long has it been bothering you?
How did it start?
What makes it worse and what makes it better?
The location, as precise as possible.
What have you tried to rehab it?
I'm Dr. Ted Lim, PT, DPT, USAW-1, and I help weightlifters get rid of pain and blow past previous PR's! I've been involved with weightlifting since 2011. I have competed several times and have been coaching since 2015. I have coached multiple lifters to senior national level. Now, I combine my skillsets of being a weightlifting coach and physical therapist to help weightlifters get back on the platform in their best condition ever.

Just hope the post won't be flooded by people asking where are the safety bars or what would happen if he failed the lift....

Just competed at USAW Masters Nationals and have some rare free time tonight so I want to help others and share some knowledge. I’ll be doing this on IG. Link is in my bio and on the pic. Some might consider me r/weightlifting resident Master as I’ve been here for over a decade helping ya’ll when I can.

Does anyone know Why the Chinese super heavyweights seem to wear glasses more often, unlike the lighter classes?

I am on day 40 of this program. I don’t mind it, the workouts do seem very long and a bit monotonous, but that’s expected and that’s how they advertise it. But how does this program compare to other ones, specifically from catalyst, or cal strength, etc?
It’s too early for me to tell.
But I will say I feel pressured to do the accessories and metcon at the end of each workout and I reeeally just do not want to do them….
Has anyone been doing this program for a while and can speak to it/compare it with others?

The latest cue was to head bang my head through the hole (coaches say the darndest things). Well, it helps so here we are, my prettiest 102 to date.

Geez the face he made on the pull is something I'll never forget. 😵😂
This is actually his old HPSn Pr before he separated his shoulder in the Spring of 2023 (and didn't get back to the bar until January 2024).
He competes tomorrow to secure his AO Finals in Daytona total.

Took about 5 years of trying but finally got 1 standard plate from the ground to over my head 😊 Not my cleanest technique but about what you’d expect for a PR attempt. Thanks for any notes or feedback! I know I have much to improve but looking for a focus.

Sadly due to the recent weight classes changes I will not get to attempt the records officially. But it was great to even try them after a year long weight loss journey to 73kg. At least it was a National Record for USAM. Will try again for USAW tomorrow

So I recently noticed that my pinkies has curled themselves under my other toes, and I have some pretty hefty bunions sticking out on the side. I've been using Adidas adipower since 2016, and just now realized how extremely tight the toebox actually is. My feet are extremely wide in the front, so I guess this is a pretty bad combo.
Been researching the web and every time I see someone recommending a weightlifting shoe with a wide toe box, I see someone else saying they're thight AF. Do weightlifting shoes with a wide toe box really exist? TYR L shoes are not an option at the moment, as they're not available to order in the EU in my size.
