A few days ago, my PC (Windows 11) started working weirdly, as in my mouse and the screen would refresh normally, but anything I hovered my mouse over or clicked on would take 2+ minutes to react to the click. This happened a few times before I restarted it one day, then I was stuck in the Lock Screen. It would take upwards of 2 minutes to even get past the screen with the time, and I couldn’t shut it down by manually pressing the off button on my PC. I tried pressing the shut down option on the password screen, but it would take too long, and wouldn’t end up working.
Although I knew it was a bad idea, I shut it off from the power switch to turn it off, then when I turned it back on, my screen became a loading screen that said something about repairing disk errors. It finished, sent me back to the Lock Screen and I turned it off for the night. I then turned it back on today, now it only boots to the BIOS. I’ve tried changing the voltage to my CPU, since I recently increased it due to recent blue screens, which partially fixed them, but that didn’t work. I tried resetting all settings, which again didn’t work. Anytime I turned it off and on again, it would boot to BIOS, and when I saved and exited, it would send me back to the motherboard loading screen, then back to the BIOS. I don’t know if my windows is corrupted, or whether I’ll need to install windows again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
If I need to provide anymore info about my specs, I can provide that.
