Discussion Far too many effects in dungeons
Is it just me or is it simply impossible to see any ability on the ground? I'm currently dying from the stupidest abilities, but you can hardly see them, because the AoE abilities of the players then overlap the AoE abilities of the opponents and then your own in such a way that certain bombs or similar are simply no longer visible due to all the effects.
Only when I look at what I died of do I see that it was simply because of a small bomb in front of me that hit one and I didn't even see it because of the effects.

Loot Infinite Time Reaver
I posted I got Onyxia mount last week, and I didn't even know this mount existed, and just now got it!
Question Am I wrong for blaming these players?
I am a recently new player to Classic and at a high level more than never before I tend to only find people "farming" in an area, while I have quests there, but when it comes to asking to group up they just reject and ignore you, here is my question: Is there any reason not to group up? I know there are quest items that aren't shared, but if we join a group, everyone gets what they're looking for, right? Also these people don't even have the quest, I could get it not to group up if the items are not shared but it's like when they form a group they stop receiving their loot or sm? Every time this happens, I feel like it's unproductive and time wasting and I blame the player for it. I just want to know if I'm the one who's wrong here or if there really are such unproductive players

Discussion just got 3 trinkets from a +8 bountiful delve with delvers bounty active...
nevermind the other 5 slots that are still in last seasons gear. Guess im wearing trinkets for clothing now! Anyone else wearing trinkets for shoes, and gloves, and very revealing tops/bottoms?
Question Any easily obtainable mounts that look as good as the wolfhawk?
I'm leveling my third char since coming back, with my first two being druid (where I'm an owl anyways) and hunter, where the wolfhawk mount is just too good not to use. I have only about a hundred mounts in total, and while some like Elegon and Pureblood Fire Hawk are considered "nice" by some, I hate all my flying mounts on my new non-hunter.
My issues are basically with these types of mounts:
- Stuff that shouldn't be able to fly (e.g shit that runs in the air)
- Stuff that doesn't ever land, like all cloud serpents
- Stuff whose wings are too small and look comical, like the foxes or larions
- Stuff that looks dumb on the ground
- Stuff that looks like it's taking a shit while using Aerial Halt, like Wen Lo
- Stuff whose wings are in the way on the ground, like all drakes
- Stuff whose legs look like they have nowhere to go while flying, again like Wen Lo
I'm not looking to shit on anyone's favorites here, but I legitimately hate flying around on my new char where I often just go randomly skyriding in circles on my hunter and druid. The wolfhawk has to be the best designed mount in the game IMHO. It looks like a ground mount while on the ground, looks like it belongs in the air with functional body parts while flying, looks like it knows how to land when landing, looks like it knows how to maneuver, has a quiver to match the class it belongs to and has a special mount animation.
So, I'm looking for a mount that actually looks decent with this insane list of nitpicks, and something that is easy to go get in some way.

Discussion It's time for mythic raid lockouts to work like all other raid content
Especially now that RWF is done – and even, then, who actually cares about 40 people when there are FOUR MILLION OR MORE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD?
No reason to deny 80% of the population one of the forms of endgame content.
It’s time for mythic raid lockouts to work like everything else in the game, and allow people to pug it.

Discussion Even if you get Resilient Keystones (everything at +12) you can still deplete anything below that.
once a player has finished all eight seasonal dungeons at Mythic 12 within the timer, their keystone will no longer automatically delevel below 12
I thought this meant that even if I drop my key to a +10, it can't deplete.
I thought I could run some lower item level guildies through a +10. I was sure that it wouldn't deplete because I have the +12 achievement
INCORRECT
The achievement applies to +12 and +12 only.
EDIT: The achievement should say "your +12 keystones can no longer deplete."

Question How to get rid off that Confirmation banner?
Hey everyone, I'm struggling to turn off this annoying confirmation banner. I've tried to figure it out, but disabling every addon one by one, then having to die and respawn to check if it fixes the issue, would take forever, and I'm about to give up. Does anyone here know how to get rid of it? Please share if you have any tips!

Question Classic to retail
Hi guys, finally making the trek from classic to retail because I want that sense of community again and my server was dying out. Sick of having to remake characters when classic slows down. Any tips for a new retail player? Already getting overwhelmed lol

Esports / Competitive 28 guilds have Cutting Edge right now, and 18 have 7/8M
Guess if you're good enough for Mug'zee you're pretty much there!
(Or maybe if you're good enough for One-Armed Bandit, you're good enough for the rest. 75 additional guilds have that fight down.)

Nostalgia When I was a teenager, I played Discovery Edition
I was max level (20), on a PvP server (because I didn't even know what it was) and I gave myself a goal in this game: to get the sea turtle mount.
So I went on the Internet to see where I could fish for this mount, and the most accessible areas were high-level areas (70/80) of the opposing faction. So I went to these areas.
On my way I was chainkilled by mobs but I never stopped continuing until I arrived at my destination.
I was almost there and I came across a player level 80 of the opposing faction... but instead of killing me he had helped me go where I wanted.
Since I couldn't talk to him, I waved my hand. He also waved at me before leaving.
Then I started fishing. But I never got that sea turtle I dreamed of. So I gave up.

Complaint That violin in the opening theme of The War Within is driving me insane.
Don't get me wrong, I love the music as much as anyone else does but that part is just hurting your ears and you have to hear that every single time you are entering the main menu and staying there for longer than a few minutes, its especially excruiciating when you are working on a new character and you are met with what I personally can only describe as a little sibling who really wants to tick you off.
This was mostly a personal rant. I turn the music off everytime I am creating new toons in the main menu.

Discussion Were You There for WoW’s Corrupted Blood Incident? Approved Research Project – Share Your Story!
Hello everyone!
I'm a Rowan University student currently working on a research project about the Corrupted Blood Incident in World of Warcraft, and how player behavior during that time might offer insight into real-world pandemic responses, like COVID-19.
If you played WoW in 2005 and experienced the incident firsthand (or know stories about it), I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’m conducting interviews and collecting survey responses as part of my academic work.
For your own sense of safety, I wish to preface that yes, this post has been reviewed and approved by the r/wow moderation team. This is not a scam or phishing attempt. All responses go to a secure Google Form, and your contact info is optional unless you’d like to participate further. All information supplied will be used for academic purposes!
https://forms.gle/RvLWgTQ1b4QQ69pG7
You can help by filling out the short survey—it takes 2–4 minutes. There’s an option at the end to leave your contact info if you're open to being interviewed. I’m especially interested in your character class, level, what you remember, and what you did during the outbreak.
Whether you were a hero trying to heal the infected, a bystander caught in the chaos, or even someone who helped spread the plague—your story matters.
Thanks again to the mods for approving this post,

Discussion Never I would imagine…
That I would currently rank 3rd on a full server realm. I’m by no means a top tier player, I simply play a class that I enjoy despite how gutted the spec has become.
I do plan on pushing for a 3000 rating when I obtain better gear. I think though this is where the true test will begin at least within wowhead’s tier rankings having aug as the sole F tier.
Discussion I play this game for M+
Amidst all the negative posts about how the M+ system or its community fails to deliver an enjoyable experience to the players, I want to praise it for the amazing times I personally often have. Yes there are times that aren't few when the key gets bricked first pull or the tank decides to fuck off once someone dies or the dps fails miserably to do mechanics or simply not pump enough. And Yes there are times when I absolutely hate the shit out of people for behaving like straight out psychopaths. But, there are times when everything is just perfect, tank knows their routes, healer is a clutch master, fellow dps pump hard, and everyone is in this flow state of predetermined unplanned order of interrupts, and we're all moving together between pulls buffing each other, and no one dies to easy mechanics and if someone does they instantly get revived and get back on track like nothing happened, and I'm just there enjoying this gushing adrenaline rush with my eyes wide open scanning every mob and every cd while having one eye always at the dps meter for more incentive to pump even harder, with electrifying music blasting in my ears that only drives me further to perform better and enjoy the fuck out of every thing in the run. These times and the euphoric feeling of timing a 13+ key with more than 4 mins to spare is by far the strongest reason why I play this game. I love M+ and I love playing with randoms who know this game like I do and are clearly looking for the same experience I am. I love being a part of giving people a smooth exciting epic run just like I like to have one.
Discussion While TWW has done a tremendous amount of good, can we all agree the weekly "events" in each zone are a massive step down from DF?
You know which ones I mean.
- Awakening the machine, which has never felt even possible to fail and takes forever
- Hallowfall's 1800 weekly quests that give JUST rep and a cat recolor
- Azj'kahets "fill the bar"
- The isle of dorn play which is just a worse time rift
- the weekly world quests in each zone that you have to "unlock" by doing other world quests, and they don't even feel different from normal world quests outside the one in ringing deeps
I think undermine's are okay but it feels so weird going from grand hunts, assault on the keep, time rifts, and stuff like elemental storms. Most other things have improved since DF but what happened with the overworld events in particular?

Question Is the rogue dev MIA?
Also, wtf is vanish an offensive cooldown? We need offensive cooldowns to solo, but this resets the fight half the damn time.
Does anyone at blizzard even play rogues? The state of this class is pathetic and they should be fucking ashamed.
