WWE Smackdown

After learning that his dream to main event WrestleMania will be realized in a Triple Threat Match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, CM Punk is set to return home to Chicago for SmackDown. His moment may be squashed in a hurry, however, as both The Tribal Chief and The Visionary are also coming to SmackDown. What bedlam awaits on the turbulent Road to WrestleMania? Find out tonight at 8 ET/7 CT on SmackDown on USA.

Discussion Can’t really defend her anymore. Just shows how out of tune Charlotte is with the fans and the business itself.

After that segment on Friday, I know now that someone will defend Charlotte and say she did the right thing when she really didn’t. Charlotte for years have been doing this and has not once put anyone over really. Only time she has to put someone over is if she is forced to or she is promised a title match. My personal opinion on charlotte is that she went into business for herself a long long time ago. People won’t believe it but it’s been that way for years. All the title she’s won just shows that she was never in it for the business, just for herself. It’s sad that she embarrassed Tiffany but even sadder that no woman in the division is standing up for themselves because it feels like they are either scared of her or scared to lose their opportunity. Everytime Charlotte buries a division, they call Becky or Bayley to be the one to build that person Charlotte buried back up. Becky & Bayley were really cleaning the mess Charlotte made. That’s just my personal opinion on her. What’s your personal opinion on Charlotte Flair?

Discussion God I miss this version of Alexa so bad 😔

Post image
103 Upvotes

From 2016 to 2018, Alexa Bliss was at the height of her success. It's remarkable to hold so many reigns as Women's Champion in such a short time, including becoming the first-ever winner of the Women's Elimination Chamber and successfully defending her title against five other women. She also won the 2018 Women's Money in the Bank, cashed in successfully, and had a Fatal 5-Way match that same year where she retained her title. Additionally, she won the Women's Tag Team Championship three times. Over the years, her evolving gimmicks have showcased her versatility, proving she truly is the Goddess of WWE. We all hope to see her back in the title picture, as nothing compares to the reigning Champion Alexa Bliss, a version of her that fans have dearly missed. Let’s not forget her unmatched mic skills, her role as host of WrestleMania, and her own show, "Moments of Bliss," which showcased her star power even more.

Well … it’s fucking sucks, what I can assure is that when he returns he will do it and he will be the world champion, he deserves it. Speedy recovery champ.

I'm getting good Bobcat Goldthwait vibes from him.

Hypothetically, only one of these Jacob Fatu matches can happen, which one do you choose?

If you had to pick only one of these matches to happen, which one do you pick?

There's no right answers; everyone is going to have their own opinions. Be nice.

For me, I might lean a little more towards Bron vs Jacob. Both have a little more similarities than Jacob and Penta have and I think that could lead to a more tense, entertaining match up.

Again, just an opinion, I'm not saying Penta vs Jacob Fatu wouldn't be entertaining, I'm just saying that I think there would be a lot more going for Fatu vs Brekker

Holy cow I did not realize this. How on earth is this finally happening in 2025? Proud of the division and hopefully this is just the beginning of stories that deserve to culminate at Wrestlemania.

With Kevin Owens looking at fusion neck surgery, he is facing a year away. With his history of hardcore bumps for 25 years, do you think there is a chance WWE won't clear him. See Daniel Bryan & Edge (both later cleared). Still, makes me wonder about the longevity of his career.

Question Anybody else LOVING Naomi as a heel?! Spoiler

Feels like she’s really been trusted with creative and is doing a great job 👌🏼. Also shout out to her and Jade being the first Wrestlemania non title women’s singles match in history (without stipulation… the last one being a 2006 playboy pillow fight 🙄)

The Nation of Domination (The Rock, Mark Henry & D-Lo Brown) vs Faarooq, Ken Shamrock & Steve Blackman:[*1/2]

Triple H vs Owen Hart:[***]

The New Midnight Express (Bombastic Bob & Bodacious Bart) vs The Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson): [3/4*]

Sable vs Luna: DUD

New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) vs L.O.D. 2000 aka Legion of Doom (Hawk & Animal): [*]

The Undertaker vs Kane: [***1/4]

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Dude Love: [****]

side notes*

  • Opener was pretty meh, Rock was getting heat though and you could tell he was going to be a star as he stood out from everyone in terms of performance, look and presence

  • I love these types of manager/partner in a cage match, adds that extra something. Match was decent but ending stunk of Russo

  • This was pretty awful and Bob Holly and Bart Gunn weren’t fit to tie Midnight Express boots, only redeeming quality was a silly spot with Cornette and the referee

  • No redeeming value.

  • Boring match with a cop out finish. The teams had no chemistry with each other as opponents and did nothing for either team

  • Great stuff, I love the gimmick and this could be used in future for Priest vs McIntyre, Bearer did a serious blade job too. Action was fine, and did a lot for the feud. Match has a real fever dream vibe.

  • Awesome match, McMahon being determined to get the belt off Austin was the story here and everyone sold it. Both worked their asses off but the finish felt tacked on.

  • Bit of a poor show that probably doesn’t hold up to modern audiences.

  • Best Match: Austin vs Dude Love

  • Worst Match: Luna vs Sable

Rey Fenix Vs Nathan Frazer

What was everyone's thoughts on this match, apart from the one botched spot where NS dived through the ropes and misses RF (I've watched it back and few times I don't think rey was anticipating Nathan Frazer being so quick and he wasn't in the right spot 🤣) I was super impressed with Nathan Frazer I know it was supposed to all be about RFs debut but I was more impressed with NF hes definitely too good for NXT

Naomi has really won me over with this heel run. I always liked her but I wasn't a huge fan of the glow gimmick but this new her, I absolutely love her, and she's sexy as well.

Question Where can I buy this t-shirt in the UK?!

Post image
2 Upvotes

This t-shirt is being sold but is too small for me. The seller bought it at the WWE event in London, it’s official but not for sale on the Euro shop. It’s the best design I’ve seen for a Rhea t-shirt and I desperately need it! If anyone is selling a medium or knows where I can get one please lemme know! I want it for Wrestlemania at home 🤣

Randy vs. Solo at Wrestlemania

Post image
4 Upvotes

I feel like this has to be the direction they pivot to? Not for nothing, Solo was a huge part of Smackdown last year. They depended on him for a good chunk of the year and he showed up. Now with Randy not having an opponent I feel like it would be easy to slide Solo into there since there’s already history
