Just started Yellowstone and holy hell, is this show painfully bad or what? (up to ep 4)
 in  r/television  10d ago

Agreed 100%. The Ireland storyline was dumb as shit, and then they capped the season off with a finale that it absolutely didn't deserve. That finale was probably Sutter's peak as a writer, tbh.

Seasons 1 and 2 were legitimately very good TV. If the show ended there it would be remembered as one of the best shows of its time, and I'll die on that hill.

Then it became what Yellowstone became.

American truckers, which car make and model has the worst drivers?

Driven by a single mother CNA who "hates drama" and calls her toddler son her "king" on her Tinder profile, all while while dressing him like the baby daddy who has nothing to do with him.

Do we think Sam got rid of the Tesla he almost certainly owned? If not, do we think he should?

They didn't start delivering Cyber Trucks until two years ago, but ok.

Joe Rogan Experience #2288 - Jacques Vallée
 in  r/JoeRogan  26d ago

If perma-seething is listening to an episode once every few months, hearing that he's still fallen off, making a comment when I'm bored at work, then paying Rogan no mind for a couple more months then yeah. You've got me lol

His boyfriend Elon said that there's no UFOs because if there were, he'd know about it. I'm surprised he's still bringing on guys related to the topic.

Joe Rogan Experience #2286 - Antonio Brown

He had Ric Flair on and spent more time going on and on about UFC than he did about wrestling. Dude could invite Jordan on and would spend more time sucking off Jon Jones and bitching about masks than he would talking to Mike about basketball.

"Who is Mr. Feeny? And why do you think that he raped Ben Shapiro? I'm friends with Ben. And where did you hear that Dr. Peterson said that it's gay to get pussy? You've gotta be careful saying things about people that aren't true."

Dan getting dragged on Twitter by some of the worst conservatives on the internet
 in  r/dancarlin  Mar 03 '25

I had no clue who he was, but he popped up on one of my old Twitter alts complaining about something insanely pathetic and trivial, so I tweeted some stupid throwaway line like, "More like Cernobitch, amirite?

He quote tweeted me and started spazzing out. Then he started spazzing out in the comments of the quote tweet. Then he sent me a DM crashing out even more. Then he blocked me.

Long story short, what he lacks in intellect, he more than makes up for in sensitivity.

I mean, they're kind of notoriously shitty quality vehicles and you can't just take it down to the local auto mechanic to have it repaired. So you're still giving Tesla money when the vehicle inevitably shits the bed and you have to take it to one of their dealerships to fix.

So even though what they have to pay Tesla to fix their vehicle pales in comparison to what they paid in the first place, I can see people not wanting to give the company another cent.

POTUS just seized absolute Executive Power. A very dark future for democracy in America.

"From whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some trans-Atlantic military giant step the earth and crush us at a blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia...could not by force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. No, if destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever or die by suicide." - Abraham Lincoln

I don't need nick mullen's gay bipolar ass, I will relive all the Cumtown bits again vicariously through this middle aged black man

It's always that British dude with the durag who scrunches his face and bobs his head while acting completely blown away, and the white Redditors who infantilize black people are so thrilled that he's hearing Queen for the "first time" and "likes" it. Because if a black dude likes it, then it validates their dog shit taste in music.

Fuck, Cool Adam is a proto-Redditor.

Either there's a bunch of people making shit up, or my school was just really lame. I was in TAG classes until I got to high school, and it wasn't remotely like what these people are saying.

It was just a lot of educational computer games, reading, and research and creative writing assignments. It was a really pleasant experience.

Art Bell leads mass prayer for Rush Limbaugh
 in  r/ArtBell  Jan 15 '25

Art was an old-school conservative. Listening to his episodes about the Montana Freemen is really interesting because he wasn't hyper-dogmatic, so he was able to chastise people on his side of the political spectrum. I'm surprised that his decades spent talking bullshit didn't smarten him up to Trump's charlatan shit. I can disagree with him on that and still appreciate the entertainment he gave me as a kid.

My dad was all in on Rush and Paul Harvey. I fucking hated having to listen to their shows on the days he was home from work. But, they were big players in the AM game, so I'm not surprised that Art would give Rush his flowers, even if he had worse taste than a tongueless man.
