To me, less perceived randomness is generally more fun. In the scenario you describe, if I can see that the boost is going to spawn for my chaser, I don't keep going straight. We both have a little more information and we both do something different as a result. Whether I get sniped or get away, I am much happier than I would be if it just happened to spawn perfectly for my chaser when neither of us had the info. And even if I'm the chaser in that scenario, it doesn't feel rewarding in the slightest. It would probably make me laugh, but everybody in the lobby, myself included, would know it was unfair and not a skillful play.

I personally do not understand why comp people seem to think there's more skill in no timers. Nobody has a perfect 10-second timer in your brain, so you are just making educated guesses about when something will show up. And we've all seen a FC get boned because a boost spawned perfectly for their chaser, who wasn't even expecting it, and just got lucky. A three-second respawn warning actually decreases randomness in this way. I think many of you have gotten so used to the way things are that you refuse to consider that they could actually be better a different way.

My fiancée and I both recommitted our lives to Christ just before we met each other, so we'll have sex with each other for the first time when we get married at the end of this month, and that's super exciting and beautiful for both of us.
