I'm not gonna lie, as someone who is semi-religious and lgbt, just stop caring. If your all loving god can't love you for who you really are, even if it was not what they intended for you, then how is their love unconditional? How come we get free will and then never get to exercise it outside of very specific perameters? In my humble opinion, the idea that whatever created us cares about us is just the lie we tell ourselves to hide the fact that we are all alone and scared in the universe and don't know what to do. We try super hard to make some sort of meaning out of it all, but although there is deep meaning to be found in every corner and crevice of the world, sometimes shit just happens. Life happens.
