He definitely isn’t. Warr has nailed on that shirt the past two years. Quirks kicking isn’t consistent enough for sales styles to be a starter atm

I actually hate everything this did to the relationship Clark and Lois had been having up to this point in the season. Feel like this send off should’ve been done a season earlier really

EU to exclude US, UK and Turkey from €150bn rearmament fund
 in  r/geopolitics  18d ago

Love how most these replies never actually address the fact that Korea and Japan were able to get a defence agreement without having to jump through hoops relating to fish and movement. I guess it’s all about you lot patting yourselves on the back about showing Britain who’s got the big boy pants on.

So much for European unity eh?

EU to exclude US, UK and Turkey from €150bn rearmament fund
 in  r/geopolitics  18d ago

If Britain were to have another referendum on EU now how would that create any more certainty or stability, it would just be like the US’s current psychodrama of four year cycles. The UK being locked into a defence agreement would be the first step to closer ties, especially because we all know businesses are more likely to keep governments in check than people.

EU to exclude US, UK and Turkey from €150bn rearmament fund
 in  r/geopolitics  18d ago

Neither Japan or Korea are in the EU. They were able to make a defence agreement with the EU without having to also include stuff relating to fish and freedom of movement.

EU to exclude US, UK and Turkey from €150bn rearmament fund
 in  r/geopolitics  18d ago

If the defence initiatives are going to be using British equipment, intelligence, and man power why would they not have a right to have access to money?

Britain isn’t being excluded because it voted for Brexit. It’s being excluded because even though the UK has tried to sign a defence agreement with the EU (like Japan and Korea have) they are being blocked from doing that over fishing rights in the North Sea. Acting like this is all britains fault demonstrates smugness that reflects poorly on the EU time and time again. Which again I would never have supported leaving.

What happens if France goes the way of many other countries and elects Le Pen then. How long does Europe and Britain have to pay for the sin of Brexit?

You really think that not having Britain involved in the defence of Europe because 52% of Britain voted to leave the EU is worth it?

France cutting European defence off at the knees over fishing rights at a time when showing unity is so important is classic posturing. I’m as anti Brexit as it comes but this kind of shite is exactly what riles people up about the EU.

Such a ridiculously loaded title. What should we do with the waste then, bearing in mind its LLW and already exists?

Can you get good dark ale/porter/bitter/stout in Canada?
 in  r/AskACanadian  25d ago

Im northern English so hopefully can help abit here. Couple of alright ambers in Ontario. Cameron’s Ambear is the closest I’ve found to an English amber as it has that maltyness. Barking squirrel is a decent amber larger and Waterloo amber is decent too but the percentage is well high for some reason. Can’t help you with the porter and stout because don’t really go in for it. Cremore cream ale is one of the closest to a bitter/mild I’ve found in Ontario. When in doubt though you can actually get Lancaster bomber from most the LCBOs near me and the price isn’t really export price. I’ve seen hobgoblin about too.

Typical price would be between $2.80 - $3.60 depending which it is and how strong. Also if you buy in bulk at the Beer Store it’s often cheaper than LCBO, which is a con. Canada still seems to love an IPA but I find it way too over hopped here, so not my cup of tea.

Won’t Canada have exactly the same intelligence via 5 eyes? Just have them share it instead.

Same thing has been happening on two of the local ones to me too. It’s not a surprise that chronically online losers are also the people to moderate local Facebook pages though.

Starmer provokes diplomatic row by refusing to back Canada against Trump’s 51st state plan
 in  r/CanadaPolitics  Feb 28 '25

Look the majority of the British people have way more connection and love towards Canadians than Americans all of this stuff is pure politicking and starmer has spoken multiple times to Trudeau since it all popped off. These types of reactions to one bit of press pooling is not going to do Canada any favours.

What's wrong with the NDP?
 in  r/AskACanadian  Feb 22 '25

Definitely not. Maybe more Eurocentric but the Lib Dem’s are much closer to the liberals in Canada than the NDP ideologically. Starmer is a centrist dad but still beholden to a much more trade union base that the Lib Dem’s would ever be
