I'm saying it's not racism. You used both "denigrate" and "deflect" wrong, so I can only guess what you are trying to say is that it distracts from other criticisms. You are assuming everybody cares about those other criticisms, or that the negative effect of making an observation is worth the restraint needed to not make an observation or joke that someone thinks is entertaining.

[Headphones] Philips SHP9500S (Open Box) - $37.99 ($49.99-$12.00)
 in  r/buildapcsales  Jan 22 '18

You are wrong. Headphone bass should rise about 3db above neutral measured to sound natural and realistic (preferred in blind tests when compared to tuned speaker/room setup). These headphones measure below neutral. That makes it subpar.

They are banning hip hop because of Chinese artists.

What about when people call Ann Coulter a man, or Katie Hopkins, or Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife? There is really something wrong with you that you are looking for racism where it doesn’t exist.

“Two sides of a triangle have lengths 6cm and 5cm. Perry suggests the following possible values for the perimeter of the triangle: (i) 11cm (ii) 15cm (iii) 24cm.

Just think about what a triangle looks like with two sides 5cm and 6cm. What is the minimum or maximum length of the third side?

Largest producing egg farm in the US caught by undercover operatives for severe animal abuse
 in  r/news  Jan 20 '18

Every comment above the one you responded to... My comment was about the hypocrisy of people who complain about animal cruelty and consume lots of animal products, so it would really only make sense for you to respond if you are one of those people, unless you just felt like it was cool to assert that you eat eggs.

[Cooler] Deepcool Gammaxx 400, 120mm CPU Cooler - $13.79 ($39.99 - $16.20 Sale - $10 MIR)
 in  r/buildapcsales  Jan 19 '18

Yes, but I know for a fact that the m9i is more than sufficient for an i5-6500. The i5-6500 will rarely draw more than 60w even when benchmarking. It is very very low power, so I would get the smaller one that has proven reliability. I have had the m9i + i5-6500 pair, and the m9i can cool is silently. I would not go for a bigger cooler that is lower quality just to save $5. I would rather have the m9i with no rebate hassle.

But I'm asking about people who complain. I don't think it makes sense to complain about animal cruelty and then go to the store and consume an average amount of eggs or whatever.

So then you probably shouldn't complain.

CMV: If I've already purchased a band's CD in the past, I don't feel bad pirating a digital version.
 in  r/changemyview  Jan 19 '18

Capitalism is propped up by government laws that are supposedly designed to promote healthy capitalism. Laws that protect obsolete methods of distribution, such as those that protect car salesmen by prohibiting auto makers from selling their cars directly, prop up unnecessary jobs that probably hurt us in the end, or at least takes money out of one person’a pocket and puts it in another for no reason other than historical lobbying. This is how I think of copyright laws that are obviously a panic move against rapidly growing technology. Do you think the digital industry should work the same as when we only had vinyl discs for music and old methods of promoting and distributing music? I think it strangles music and it strangles potential new markets and new forms of distribution in favor of legacy rich folk.

God, why would you cool a low power R3 1200 with an AIO that costs more than the processor itself while adding noise and other issues? Could have had a completely silent small air cooler for 1/4 of the cost that’s better.

Have you guys stopped eating eggs yet? I mean I’m not a vegeterian or anything, but I just hope everyone commenting will do their part to drastically reduce their intake of eggs and animal products before complaining on the internet. Animal farming is just that bad, but it could be a lot less bad if it were dialed back about 90%.

[Prebuilt] Acer Refurbished Desktop, i7 7700, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, GTX 1070 - $1000 ($1334 - $334)
 in  r/buildapcsales  Jan 16 '18

The $300 price for the CPU is not valid when comparing to building a new PC, since an i5-8400 is a clearly superior substitute that’ll save you at least $50 when including the motherboard in the cost. I would say the RAM is worth about $320 unless it’s fast.

[Monitor] SAMSUNG curved 27" 1080P 4ms 60hz - $47.96
 in  r/buildapcsales  Jan 14 '18

Can confirm. Just ordered a too good to be true low price monitor with good history and everything. eBay defected the account being compromised and returned my money. No real risk as a buyer on eBay, but it’s an obvious scam.

The i5-6500 is ultra low power, which is great! I suggest the m9i, which is better, and only costs $18.99. In my estimation, it is a better budget choice because your time filling out that rebate form and the risk of you not receiving it outweigh the cost of $5 more for a superior cooler.
