Was in a body of a rich man's life.

That was my thought. I've had a few of these the past year but short and vague.

Long Dream Was in a body of a rich man's life.

The dream started with me holding an RC passenger plane. There was little awareness that it was a dream, but not full lucidity. The plane could be rotated and inspected at will. It had two propellers on each wing, the same kind used on cheaper drones. There was even a thought of strapping another toy truck to it just to see if it would still fly Kid at heart here. 😆

Looking around, the setting became clear. An extremely large room with multiple pillars, dimly lit, and filled with green plants. The ceilings stretched about 40 feet high. Shallow, rectangular ponds or pools sat just a few inches from floor level, easy to step into. Their purpose was unclear, but the water was clean and warm. I had to google what it could be just now. Possibly a courtyard spa or bathing hall in a luxurious home.

Walking through the home led to a living room with a large TV. A woman, maybe in her early 30s with a thin build and long brown hair, was inside, organizing things and barely acknowledging my presence in the room. The realization hit, she was the wife. Moving into what looked like a gaming room, the setup was mesmerizing. The love for modifying computers in real life made this dream system even more fascinating. A dual PC built into a large glass-top desk, liquid-cooled with multiple pumps. The back was open, revealing braided pipes. Some warm, some not. This marked only the second time in a year where temperature could be felt in a dream. Awe-struck, every part was inspected for about three minutes as I felt every part. The wife entered as the system was being admired. "Did I build this?" "Uh, your father helped you," she replied, sounding unenthusiastic.

Exploring further, a pile of mail caught attention. I picked out the junk mail. Groceries ad, lawn care ad, and a Burger King flyer among them. Walking up to her near the dimly lit kitchen, I asked her "Where does the recycling go?" "I don't know. Right there?" she gestured toward a bin behind the trash. After tossing the papers, there was an urge to hug her. She barely responded. "I feel different," I said, but no response came. The realization settled in, the man who had been "taken over" was wealthy but not well-liked by his own wife.

Trying to play it off, the next step was figuring out a way to ask about the debit card pin. "What's the pin to my debit card? Sorry, totally brain farting lately." "We don't use debit cards. Just the credit card. It does have a security pin. I1PP." Standing there, thoughts raced, was this guy some kind of famous YouTuber? How was this going to be played off? What if work was required? And how? Still, the dream wasn’t fully recognized as one.

The bedroom was the next stop, with the wife following. Entering, an audible "Whoa!" slipped out. The room was massive, with a table covered in party supplies, as if a big celebration was being planned. I looked at the large bed white a fluffy white comforter, bringing an uneasy feeling, like invading someone else's space. A tall goblet-shaped glass was filled with candy corn. I grabbed a few pieces and ate one. It tasted exactly as it should!

Walking back out into the main room with the pillars, the wife was now holding a toddler. Without considering it might be our child, I offered the little boy a candy corn by putting it in his mouth. "I don't want him having one," she said, removing it from his mouth. He started crying, and guilt sank in. Walking away, the confusion grew. I laid down on the fancy brick floor next to one of the shallow pools, the toddler approached, still looking for candy. He layed next to me as I was dragging my fingers through the water. "Sorry for being a jerk," was whispered. "Yes, you are," he replied in his little squeaky voice.

Getting up, the next stop was a bathroom, huge, with a walk-in shower that had three partitioned showerheads for privacy, like something out of a gym. Inside, an older teen and another boy, possibly Filipino, were showering with shorts on. Respecting their space, a quick exit was made. The thought came, how many children were actually in this household? Dreams lately had been filled with NPCs as I call them. Sometimes entire crowds. Wandering into the laundry room, there was a utility sink. Turning to the wife, I asked "Can we go for a walk?" The plan was to explain everything, to tell her that I wasn’t really her husband. She wasn’t interested. The feeling of guilt overwhelmed, and a hug was given from behind. This man must have been a real prick. How am I supposed to take care of them if I don't remember anything?

There was an entrance to what looked like a sauna room or maybe a wine room? The walls were lined with cedar but the room was empty.. Inside, a younger boy, maybe eight years old, was playing with a six-inch Luigi figure built from Legos. I asked "Can I talk to you?" A slight hesitation. "I guess..." Wrapping arms around him tightly, uncontrollable sobbing started. He started crying too, probably confused about what was happening. The sadness was heavy. It was obvious this family had been neglected. Crying harder, lucidity finally hit. A fleeting thought, could my actual wife, lying next to me in bed, hear me crying? Then, waking up. Turning to her, most of the dream was shared. I asked if she heard me crying but she said no. She went back to sleep while I was lying there for twenty minutes, trying to make sense of what had just been experienced and to remember more details.

“What did I just witness”
 in  r/Paranormal  8d ago

Sorry, just saw this. February of 2024, I started a staycation and was a bit bored. Ran across this presentation by Jade Shaw on youtube about astral projection. Didn't really believe in any of it but tried a guided yoga nidra meditation on yt. Almost successfully popped out on the first try but got too excited. Had the full body vibrations, ringing ears and floaty. After that night, I began having vivid and lucid dreams. Other things started happening in my waking life but that would make this a novel. I tried replicating the yoga nidra but just got the vibrations here and there. Ended up taking one of Jades classes and became friends. I kind of gave up but read a few books by Robert Monroe and Robert Peterson. I get ridiculously vivid dreams and often have long conversations with dream people, something I didn't think was possible.

In November, I had a dream that I was sitting next to my wife in the livingroom. There was a hole in the ceiling and can see into the attic. I stared at it and said "Wouldn't it suck if something scary was up there?" Dumb thing to say as it triggered a nightmare. Was always able to sense a nightmare was coming since I was a child. I got a flash of a scary face and woke up in sleep paralysis. I was thinking "Oh now is my chance!" Trying not to get too excited and immediately forgetting the almost nightmare. I used the rollout technique, but all I had to do is say "Roll" in my head a few times, and my body slowly rolled to the left. I saw a weird streak of green light as I was turning and a swooshing sound. It was such a weird feeling and automatic. Our kid was sleeping between us and my "body" was thru him. Then I rolled quickly to my right and off the bed. A lot of people use the floating or rope technique, making them stuck on the ceiling and looking back at themselves sleeping. I fell to the floor, trying to stand up like Bambi walking for the first time.

I noticed the bedroom door was open with light shining in from the other room. I finally stood up and walked towards the door. Stumbled and fell right on my face then woke up. It was short, weird and awesome experience. Guess my advice is don't try too hard but also keep it in the back of your head that it is possible. Read or watch videos about it here and there. Hacking the Out of Body Experience by Robert Peterson is a great book to start and on amazon.

I had my first induced OBE (out of body experience) this past November. It was both interesting and weird. Couldn't control my astral body. Wonder if dying feels the same except there is a loved one waiting for you?

Were you reading a specific part of the Bible or whenever you read it in general?

WTF happened here?

This happened with my moldavite tektite. Some items just have the energy to just relocate on their own. This so called reality has glitches.

Having to re-think cannabis

That's funny. Didn't drink or anything but my first induced obe was right after a potential nightmare thos past November. I've always known when a nightmare was coming since I was a child. I could feel it, then I go lucid and throw hands at whatever entity. This time I woke up immediately and found myself in sleep paralysis. Thought to myself "Oh it's happening!" Just thought of the rollout technique and my body slowly rolled to the left. It happened automatically and felt soooo weird. Then rolled fast to the right and off the bed to the floor. Tried getting up but I had noodles for legs. Finally got up and tried walking to the door. Fell on my face and woke up. Didn't think nit could happen when drinking.

I FINALLY DID IT (conscious + aware)
 in  r/AstralProjection  Feb 20 '25

I have multiple books and took many courses because I'm information hungry, but here is my number 1. The one that got me into astral projection after watching her presentation on youtube is Jade Shaw. I took about 4 of her courses over the year and probably spent less than $15 and she genuinely loves teaching the world. She was a astral projection consultant for the Netflix show "Behind Her Eyes". Released a documentary on ap called "Insight Out" which is free on youtube and highly recommend. Also works with Gaia and Mindvalley. Jade has been gaining traction from the scientific community, which is a hard thing to do. She does have one expensive course but not really necessary, at least for now. Funny thing is, I got so into astral projection that we are now friends. I highly suggest joining the Facebook group called "Astral Projection - Techniques". 123k members with a strict no stupid question policy and the most wonderful and helpful people in the AP field. Jade is an admin but also a few top authors. I'd post a link but reddit doesn't like that sometimes 😕

 in  r/AstralProjection  Feb 20 '25

One thing I've noticed about spiritual information online is that it's hard to find a straight answer. So many mediums that say it's this or that. I try to connect with practitioners that have a ton of experience but also don't sell you some stupid course for $49 😆 What I've gathered about purple is that you are increasing your intuitive skills. Activating the crown chakra and connecting with high vibrational beings. After trying to AP and then successfully having my first OBE, some of my super crazy vivid dreams have been predictive. 99% of them are like living someone else's life, and they are so long! I'm still learning myself as it's only been a year since the start of my awakening but I feel like seeing the 1111 angel numbers and purple mean that you are building your awareness and that you are on the right track. Take care of yourself, meditate and stay grounded 😁

I FINALLY DID IT (conscious + aware)
 in  r/AstralProjection  Feb 20 '25

Sorry, just got home. One advice that worked for me from this older dude I saw somewhere is not to try so hard. Relax, be open-minded, and have the curiosity of a child, and it just happens. Once you start seeing your aura, it will start appearing without effort thereafter. When I started learning, I was still skeptical and thought it was like an after image, like when you stare at something for so long and look away and still see it. I was so wrong.

I found a course on Udemy.com, but videos on youtube teach the same thing, really. Guessing it's easier for some than others and does take patience. For me, it started out as a clear outline around my fingers. Then a white between my fingers. Now it's like a red flame that extends 2 inches from my fingers. I'll sit in my car during lunch and look at it. You can see it like fizzle and see the energy. It's been 6 months and still think it's cool to look at. I just see the clear outline on other people. Still working on it.

Oh and sometimes when I close my eyes, I do see lines that are extremely fine and vertical. Other times, I get these abstract cartoon scenes. It's weird. And the purple blobs.

Yes! More than that though. I was born with visual snow syndrome. After learning how to see auras, I've noticed that my vss has become stronger. Can see what I call webbing in open spaces of a pitch dark room. With the "mindfold" on, blindfold meant for remote viewing, I can still see my arms, edges of walls, ceiling and certain objects. It's ghostly and kind of creepy. Also has this red hue and it's like having g crap depth perception. Still hard to make out my fingers. A lot of the time when I wake up, I can see the room pretty well with any blackout mask on. I like to stare at my pillow as it has this slight white glow.

Yeah neon sign is a good way of putting it. I'll see flashes of purple with my peripheral. Also have extremely excellent vision btw

Yeah, I'll see purple blobs when I close my eyes for bedtime. I'm now learning how to remote view using the mindfold mask and I'll even see them then. The remote viewing stuff is a whole other experience. Life is weird.

Yeah, I used Rosalie yoga nidra with Monroe Institute hemisync on youtube last February. That was my first time trying after watching Jade Shaw talking about it, also on youtube. Almost popped out the first try. Ears ringing, floaty, full body vibrations. It was enough to change my life overnight and it became an obsession. Kept trying but just got the vibrations and crazy vivid dreams. It's when I stopped trying that did it.

Dude that's awesome! I had my first OBE in November after trying for 9 months as well. Started out almost having a nightmare, which I can always feel coming. Woke up to vibrations and I thought "Oh nows my chance!" I had a sleep mask on but can see the entire room. Just thought about the rollout technique and my body automatically started rolling. Weirdest feeling ever! There was a swooshing noise and green lights. Rolled to the left slowly, then quickly to the right and off the bed. I couldn't get up! I had noodles for legs! I was finally able to get up and saw light come into the bedroom from the other room. When I walked to the door, I fell over again. Seemed like my face went thru the floor? Then I woke up. Awesome and strange experience.

The entire time trying to AP since last February, I've had the most vivid and sometimes lucid dreams. Then came the "1111" everywhere. Taught myself how to see auras and only took a week. After my first OBE, I see random things all the time before and after waking up. Visions of locations during meditation and sometimes muffled voices. Starting to see purple lights and wisps in the home. My wife is seeing the wisps too but she's not into the AP stuff. I saw a shadow figure at my job of all places, alone in a walk in cooler. Then my coworker saw it near me an hour later. It's cool to know other people are noticing and makes me feel less crazy 🤪 Let's just say I have enough proof that we are more than our physical bodies and I was a huge skeptic before all this!

Let us know if you have similar experiences?

After months i think i finally did it
 in  r/AstralProjection  Jan 11 '25

I had my first OBE a month ago. I woke up from a nightmare and was in sleep paralysis, I also let it happen. First thought was "Oh it's happening! Just stay cool." I just thought of the rolling technique and my body automatically rolled to the left then quickly to the right and off the bed. Strangest feeling ever and it was like a ride lol.

Pretty sure I done it TWICE last night
 in  r/AstralProjection  Dec 27 '24

You are not crazy at all! I just had my first OBE a month ago! I've been trying to induce one since February after watching this lady named Jade Shaw talking about it on youtube. Took some of her classes and got close to an OBE a few times. Kind of got busy and haven't been trying. In November, I had a mini nightmare and woke up. My body was vibrating and I could see the entire room even though I had a sleep mask on. I told myself to stay calm and let it happen. I just thought about the rollout technique, and my body started rotating to the left automatically. It was the weirdest feeling ever. Then I rolled to the right faster and fell to the floor. I was looking at my dresser like omg I did it! I tried getting up, but I was like a noodle. I was suddenly standing and looked at my bedroom door that was open with light coming in from the next room. As I walked towards the door, I fell over and landed on my face, then woke up. It was short, but it was enough. I can't wait to travel outside my room.

Do people with aphantasia see visuals on psychedelics?
 in  r/Aphantasia  Dec 09 '24

I have aphantasia and took these legal (for now) edibles called Road Trip by Erth Wellness. Wasn't expecting much like the Tre house brand crap so I ate the entire 8 candy cubes at once. I haven't done anything like this in over 20 years, so Ia newbie. People in the reviews said not to eat all 8 unless you're experienced, but I was on vacation, stressed and wanted some type of visuals, so I didn't care. A half hour later, the room started moving like when you eat shrooms. But then geometric lines and curves pop out in the open space of the room and the floors turned into this Arizona color patterned conveyor belt with every wood slat. Hard to explain. Then, when I went to my front yard, a tree branch was in front of my face even though it was actually 20 feet away from me, like it was alive and reaching out. Colors were vibrant and everything was louder. When I lay down and close my eyes, that's when I saw the most. Rainbow colors everywhere. Faces and eyes. Comic book looking text that didn’t make sense. Now, when I start coming down, I start to see darker things like sad or scared faces. I was looking up at the ceiling and when I closed my eyes, I was in a dark cave looking room. The ceiling had this large circle of human flesh attached to it. Maybe 6 feet in diameter. It was pulsating. A woman's face was on it, staring at me. Her face started to bleed. I wasn't scared because I see weird stuff all the time while I meditate and learned to just observe.

Nothing is listed on the package for ingredients, but the site says Muscimol? Seemed like an acid trip, although I've never taken acid, just a guess. So yeah. Over all, it was weird but worth it. I got more than visuals.

Side note. It's said people with aphantasia have an internal monolog. My brain never shuts up, making it difficult to meditate. I can also hear instruments perfectly as if the music is playing in my head and at the right note.

ayyyyy first time! it’s real ❤️
 in  r/AstralProjection  Nov 27 '24

Congratulations! I had my first OBE this past Saturday after trying since February. It was short and weird but good enough for me! The roll out method felt weeeeiiird! I woke up after almost having a bad dream. I've been able to tell when a nightmare was coming since childhood. When I woke up, my body was vibrating. I thought "It's happening!" Saw this green light floating and I thought about the rollout wondering how to do it. Then my body started slowly rolling automatically to the left. Strangest feeling ever! Like I was a rotisserie chicken lol. My kid was sleeping between me and my wife. My body was almost facing all the way left and I was like, is my astral body squishing him? All the sudden, my body rolled to the right but faster. My bed is unusually high and I got ejected to the floor. I tried getting up to get away from my body as fast as I could but I was like Bambi trying to walk for the first time. All the sudden, I was standing in front of my bedroom door and it was open with light coming in from the other room. I tried moving forward but my noodle legs gave out again and face planted thru the floor, waking up. I laid there for 20 minutes like noooo wwaaayyy!

By the way, I'm in a group on fb and noticed that many just had their first just recently. Also a lot of us including myself are dreaming of white owls. Find it very interesting.

An entry-level training exercise for Mind Sight/blindfolded seeing/Direct Vision progress
 in  r/remoteviewing  Oct 26 '24

Sorry for the late reply. Work life is kinda crazy. I just tried the mindfold after a few days and noticed I can see a bit better than usual. The open spaces and ceiling are a dark yellow. When I walk slowly while looking up, the ceiling appears to be lower than normal, as if I can touch it. I can see a texture. Kind of creepy. I'm also noticing these pinhole lights pop up. They are quick and colorful. One thing the lady from the ICU Academy mentioned is when children start to see details in front of them, it's like looking thru a tiny hole. Wonder if that's what I'm seeing?

So the "webbing" is hard to explain. With or without a blindfold, I can see the static in open spaces but it's very dense and 3D, like all around the room, so I can't tell if there are any connections to anything. I guess it's more like static fog? But I also see faint vertical shadow bars from floor to ceiling that are evenly spaced out. I can't imagine going to a haunted location lol. When walking around your home, do you see what I call false shadows as if you're walking up to a wall? When I go outside and look up at the sky without a blindfold on, There are shadow bars extending from my homes overhang with a foot spacing. Like the rafters of the home are casting a shadow. It's strange and there are no lights coming from the opposite side of the house. All my neighbors like it pitch black.

It's cool that you and your daughter do this together. My younger 9 year old son is non-verbal autistic and just looks at me like I'm crazy lol. Older son is in the Navy. I don't talk to my wife much about what I'm experiencing.

I will definitely check out your book recommendations. My brain is like a sponge right now with what's going on. Still need to watch those videos. More than I expected. Black washing is a good way of putting it. I see that after looking around after waking up. With the blackout, one of the people in the videos you linked mentioned that the consciousness can get bored. Low battery like you said. Oh since you have someone to work with, can you see each other? Or at least slightly.
