You are a beautiful young woman. I think some forget that beauty doesn’t always mean happy though. I don’t know how long you have been on meds but as others have said it can take a long time to find the correct ones. It took me years. I have also pushed others away because it felt exhausting to try to be who they thought I should be. It helped me to find a community online with people who understand how difficult and frustrating it is to go through this. I have become very good friends with several of them. I have also seen comments here saying others have it worse than you and that is not true. Everyone has their own experience and comparing yours to someone else’s is not a fair thing to do for either of you. We see your beauty on the outside but not your pain on the inside. Sometimes I still have to take it day by day or even minute by minute to get through. Reminding myself depression lies and I just have to hold on until I see that light at the end of the tunnel. Trying to help yourself is exhausting and so easy to want to give up. You are here though and that is so important because it says you are trying. Celebrate the small things even if that means you got out of bed today. You deserve to be happy. Don’t let anyone try to tell you otherwise and don’t feel guilty for feeling like you do. What you are going through is not your fault. You didn’t choose it. I wish you all the best and I believe in you.
