Favorite autistic, or character you headcanon as autistic? (For autism awareness month)

Genuinely curious, aside from the Malibu Stacy collection, what makes you think Smithers is autistic-coded?

When I was a young child, my parents had a Buick Skylark in a very distinctive gold color. It was definitely something that just wouldn’t be seen on today’s cars.

Weird Question:When animal parents kill their very weak young, do they feel any remorse?
 in  r/zoology  23h ago

Don’t quote me on any of the following, as I don’t have any links to verified sources for this information, but I remember hearing something about the Inuit people, who lived in very harsh conditions, having to make a choice when a woman gave birth to twins. In times of limited resources, one twin had to be abandoned so that the other could thrive.

I also recall hearing that when elders amongst the Inuit felt they had outlived their usefulness to their tribe, they wandered out into the wilderness to die. Quite a pragmatic approach to a situation.

Did I find Lily on Whose Line?

It would be awesome if one or more of the Whose Line cast made an appearance in Good Mythical Morning.

If you were cast on Jeopardy, what would your, “introduction story” be about when Ken talks to you after the first commercial?
 in  r/Jeopardy  1d ago

I have two.

The wild one: I barely avoided a mauling from a confused and frustrated owl.

The tamer one: I was once stranded at a Kyoto bus station overnight.

I’d probably break out in wild giggles if somebody just randomly yelled that out.

I want to give this a try

Hey all, this takes a lot of courage for me to do, but I’ve spent pretty much my entire life being ignorant of how to properly choose and apply makeup. When I was younger, I was a major tomboy with no interest in clothing or makeup. I was also somewhat of a social outcast and made fun of a lot for being ugly. A lack of concern about my appearance has carried over into my adult years, coupled with a lack of money to buy nice things like makeup.

I want to join a dating website and eventually find a long term relationship, but I am incredibly unphotogenic and of course dating sites require you to have about four thousand pictures, so I need to present myself in a better light, and learning how to do makeup would be part of that.

I’m posting a selfie so I can show the shape of my face and my features for suggestions. I also wear glasses, but I took them off for the photo. In terms of my personal taste in clothing and decorating, I lean towards a dark aesthetic but I don’t want to look full on goth in my day to day life. And yes, I do suffer from a bad case of resting bitch face.

Thank you so much for any advice you could offer me! Makeup is something of a new world for me.

When you make a perfect dismount on what is later revealed to be a broken leg

Since this episode references the whole McDonald’s fiasco during the 1984 Olympics, I wonder if this was a reference to a real-life athlete or just something the writers made up?

One’s teaching self esteem and one is teaching self hatred. I think we know which is which.

Do you know the story of your own conception?
 in  r/goodmythicalmorning  7d ago

Due to some underlying issues, my parents were told that they’d have fertility problems if they ever wanted a baby, and they were cool with this. My mom used a diaphragm as birth control, but a sly cell containing half of my DNA successfully managed to break into my mom’s Fort Knox anyway.

So yes, I was an accident.

fr tho on Harvey and Elliot man.. I was fighting for my life on who to marry
 in  r/StardewMemes  7d ago

In my current play through, I married Sebastian and decided to divorce him after having his kid. I wasn’t pleased with his dialogue, I felt like he was taking me for granted. Got my sights set on Elliot now, lol.

There’s some truth to this

For me, it’s episodes from the early seasons of the Simpsons. Takes me back to my childhood, where I was only anxious about some things and not absolutely everything all the time.

I wonder how many fans have placed their hands in the guys’ handprints by now? Munich in general is an amazing city, but the collection of musicians’ handprints in Olympiapark was the cherry on top.

Are there any active subReddits for international dating and friendships? The one that I found hasn’t seen much activity in a while.

All the same, I like the smiley face next to Paul’s handprint. It seems very on brand for him.

I just started Hoka! Hoka! Hoka! by Gordon R Dickson. I saw it recommended on a Reddit discussion thread about funny sci-fi books.
