Ya make the streets safer by reducing punishments to a slap on the wrist.
What could go wrong?

If the punishment for sin is death and eternal separation from God then how did Jesus take our place?
 in  r/Christianity  6h ago

Makes it seem pretty stupid doesn't it.

Imagine seeing peoples' body get destroyed when they die and still say "eternal separation" like we're not entirely insane.

Don't think people with high IQ have issues with paywalls.

Is masturbating a sin?

You make a good point.

We can talk about scripture but we can also consider intent in design.

Modern theologians (and theology) of sex?
 in  r/Christianity  6h ago

Well I'm asking because I'm starting to wonder what you mean by this.
But I get the feeling I already know where this is going.

Is God even real
 in  r/Christianity  7h ago

The lack of any valid foundation? Oh that lack which you have carefully debunked, seeing as you watched a grand total of zero minutes of that video? (You didn't even correctly identify the duration of it).

"You're ignorant, even though I'm the one that hasn't done the homework."
Good ol atheists.

You forgot showing them behind bars for posting hurty tweets.

What’s your best argument for god?
 in  r/Christianity  7h ago

Yes I can in fact show you a God existing that created everything. He walked on water.

Why did God create a universe that is going to end ?
 in  r/AskAChristian  7h ago

I don't take their ideas seriously. Not that I have anything against them specifically, but I already know the truth. And when anyone contradicts the truth then I know they are a liar.

You don't get to determine what is a "valid" scientific discipline.
Especially when in defense of magic nothings exploding into magic universes. And magical rocks that get rained on and sprout magical monkey people.

I masturbated.
 in  r/NoFapChristians  7h ago

It's a big topic, so I could try to jam a bunch of stuff into a couple comments but that's no good. I will recommend you to the red pill teachers for some success training. As long as they don't steal your faith away in the process of course.

"Baseless claim" itself is a claim. You assumed authority to say what is and is not baseless.

I say it's sound and you say baseless. But we do exist and we are highly advanced in our form and function, so that itself is the base for the conclusion. I don't need to see the creation happen to know it happened because behold it is here.

...

The text on the screen shares some characteristics with everything else. It is ordered, it is consistent, it is advanced beyond chaos, showing that a mind is directing it. You didn't see me type it but I doubt you think letters just randomly ended up on your screen.

Even the fact that you concluded people or a bot, shows what I'm talking about. You only gave two possibilities; both of which would be intelligent creators. Because your conscience already knows the connection between created and Creator, so you concluding people or bot was natural to you.

Romans 1:
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

I masturbated.
 in  r/NoFapChristians  7h ago

What do you mean that's all? That's 100% the reason bro.

I'm sorry to hear that. 😣 That's the most brutal thing. Mine are too.

I don't think this will be easy to deal with. There's a lot of damage and hurt caused by these things. Which will drive you to seek refuge in the arms of the princesses on the web.

I need to establish the direct connection between Father wounds and acting out sexually. So that you're aware porn isn't just about a sex drive. It's an emotional management. And a hijacking of the dopamine. It's a drug that gets you high, and it gets the credit for making you feel better, but it actually doesn't solve any problems, it just makes them worse.

1

What’s your best argument for god?
 in  r/Christianity  7h ago

All existence was created. So therefore I can assume a Creator, when it is all created.
The text you're reading right now was created. It doesn't need to go any more deep than that. It's the avoidance of what a Creator leads to, that causes people to pretend they don't have common sense. Because there is only One who walked on water.
