the word magic as "whimsy and wonder" and magic as "attempts at and methods for controlling supernatural forces by non-supernatural beings" are entirely seperate concepts.

It does just have straight up demon-summoning spell-casting sorcerers as well, but they also use the warp and are 99 times out of a 100 chaos aligned.

i've seen it in a couple "magic system" video thumbnails, it just feels misleading to imply that "magic" even has a system to begin with.

those aren't two magic systems, those are two aesthetics/design philosophies, you can be really creative within both of them. and c'mon the kind of "magic" system i'm describing is very obviously not the pinnacle of creativity or writing prowess, those are in opposition to "furthering the medium" by just flattening the concept of thaumaturgy to it's most bare bones and playing that straight.
