He's always in Sunset Boulevard, to me 🥰

What is this stuff called?
I've wondered this too with my old brick house. I want the sturdiest, longest-lasting outdoor caulk there is (I'm in Phoenix).

The greatest movie poster? - Hard Target (1993)
Just visited Internet Movie Car Database (imcdb.org), and it's a 1988. Discussion says 1988-1990, and that, "a whole bunch of them are used." https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_14161-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-1988.html

Indeed. Black ORV with bullet holes is the creme de la creme.

1920s 'English Cottage's?
I WISH we could post photos on here, because there are great historic plan examples online.
There's a chance, over time, and whether due to rot or changing styles, character-defining features were removed. If it was late '30s, this style became starker. In the late-'20s, there was a stronger Tudor affect (not effect... an American faking of the Tudor mien), and more colors/materials.
Remodeling, especially during the Depression, and with minimal funds, was popular. If you couldn't afford a new house, you faked it with your old house. This has been going on since the industrial revolution.

Wtf was that storm?
I'm in Phoenix, but follow this sub because the UP is part of our (AZ) copper mining origin story. Anyway, this is reminiscent of storms we've had down here in the fall and winter. I think a little bit of warmth can "inspire" a different kind of thunderstorm.
In the past 10 or so years, we've had hail in the desert & the mts. (7,000 ft. level), that I've never seen in 36 years of being here, in seasons one would not expect. Violent, and sounding like a rumaway train comin'.
Tl,dr: I'm guessing warmth, when it never was before.

Ruth Taylor in the lost film 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' (1928). She retired to give birth to Buck Henry - was it worth it?
YES! He co-created "Get Smart" with Mel Brooks. Plus his SNL stint. Probably a lot of other great stuff.

Yeah, I was wondering, do Touaregs ride this high? Is it the rims n' tires? A little lift? Because it does look slick.

What should I do?
I just had one (Arizona). Walked right beneath them in the afternoon, and they didn't bother me at all. Half of them were still there the next morning, some doing the directional wiggle dance. By about 11 a.m., they'd moved on. They were really chill gals, looking for a new home, just going about their bee-zniss 🐝

In the postwar era, Scotty Bowers was a sort of sexual concierge to Hollywood. I bet the books and documentary about him talk about VDs. His wiki entry doesn't mention them. He lived to be 96!
