Does anyone else find non-human races boring/overused?
 in  r/DnDcirclejerk  10d ago

Whenever I see someone playing a human I have them dissected by a bonesaw in the Saudi embassy for being uncreative

It really looked like Indonesia were being asked by their manager to play the completely wrong style of game; the very aggressive attacking style looked good but just couldn't break down the Aussie defence.

Realistically, they need to beat Bahrain and China and hope those two teams aren't able to take many more points off the rest of the group. Alternatively the Saudis could just collapse but that's less likely.

People’s worlds who have Demons in them, what are they?
 in  r/worldbuilding  Feb 07 '25

Demons are the creations of a society of advanced, sociopathic aliens who use them as tests to see if a civilisation is worthy of being uplifted. They're essentially very complicated machines programmed to destroy advanced society as efficiently as possible.

HMPS Bhutan: The Starving Paradise
 in  r/victoria3  Jan 18 '25

R5: AI Bhutan in our multiplayer HMPS game conscripted literally every single working adult in its population into the military; then set military wages to max. As a result, they have 30 SOL but are starving because there is 0 food production in the entire country and they import nothing. Eventually, the entire population will starve to death.

TIL that until the late nineteenth century, approximately half of all humans born died from infections before the age of fifteen.

Look the life force of all those dead children had to be put to good use somewhere

What is your most difficult early game fight?
 in  r/BaldursGate3  Feb 11 '24

For me its def Gekh Coal and his slavers, you'll likely fight them at Level 5 and he's a Level 7 wizard that loves counterspell meaning he can neutralise your casters pretty easily, along with a brutal amount of pretty strong undead.

I got party-wiped three times before I managed to kill him.
