How safe is it to drive on this tire? But

Or having a wound where you can see bone and asking how safe it is to do Olympic level gymnastics... :/

Why has my Dell Inspiron laptop lasted so long? Should I upgrade, or replace?
 in  r/Dell  Jan 31 '25

I bought my Inspiron 17R N7110 in Nov. 2011 and just replaced the HDD 13 yrs later with an SSD & put another in the optical drive slot (cd/dvd). I'm looking for a replacement cooling fan now, but only because I snapped a blade off of the orig. while cleaning it. It should be good to go another ?? years, at least for web browsing, basic office suite type tasks, etc. :)

Does your truck have a name?
 in  r/ToyotaTacoma  Jan 24 '25

PRE-VI-OUS (adjective)

  1. existing or occurring before in time or order.

In other words:

• "What name existed before (the name SPROUT) in time?"

• "What was the name your wife complained about that prompted you to have her Google a new one?"

;)

I also ordered the Cobra, got half a dozen
 in  r/Tools  Jan 07 '25

169 people have commented, and 1,557 people have voted on this post, which makes the assumption that ~15,000 people have viewed it realistic and logical. I feel safe in saying that thousands of people are at the very least extremely tempted to order a $30-$40+ (amazing, top of the line quality )pair of pliers right now, based upon this post, that wouldn't be otherwise. IF, in fact, a few hundred (conservative estimate?) are sold as a direct result, wouldn't giving away 5 of them be well worth it? At $150-$200 retail, the 5 likely cost $35-$50 to make. There is nothing I know of in advertising/marketing that could even be done for that amount, let alone that could be directly responsible for selling hundreds of units.

Anyone know what these lines are? Noticed they’ve started leaking.

Ha! It didn't, it was actually a really fast response because I read your post 3 days late & just asked that this morning! Thanks man.

Decided I just couldn't do the christmas thing this year. Drove to the ocean instead.
 in  r/1stGenTacomas  Dec 30 '24

Looks like home... You even have the correct vehicle:human beach ratio & everything. I just spent like 5 min. thinking it must be somewhere out here on this coast, before my dumb ass finally thought to look at your plates. I know you have to skip over a bit from it to get to the beach where you are there, but it's close enough; I'm on Hwy 101 about ~550 miles South of ya.

You sir, are living my dream. I probably would've thought seeing this photo would make me feel disappointed, bitter, or jealous, but I would've been dead wrong. I'm genuinely glad to see that it exists and that someone has earned the right to enjoy it now! Also more visual motivation for someday. It's absolutely perfect man, congrats & enjoy!

I'm just wondering whether or not you bought this on Monday? If you owned it prior to the 12/23 $599 sale, then it's fine. If this is Ownership Day 5, then I'm _ _ _ _ impressed!

It seems like the oramge picks were either $1 or free for years, & every time I was there, I thought, "might as well grab one?" You can probably reach an orange pick within 2 steps of anywhere in my home + work, lol. Yes, they're predominantly bent from not being used as they were meant to be...

When they can have what removed? The services they repeatedly and adamantly refused? Patting yourself on the back for your "transparency" while allowing those beneath you to take blame, who were likely doing as instructed. Deplorable.

Can any tell me why only one of my parlays allows me to cash out…
 in  r/DraftKingsDiscussion  Dec 12 '24

Your "BIG RISK" = $8 lol, which you're donating because lottery ticket odds are roughly 10X better than a 20 leg parlay. If each leg were considered 50/50, it's >1,000,000:1
