While these laws are to “protect” women they do so primarily by controlling trans individuals. As has been mentioned we really need to stop dividing ourselves into groups or dictating who has a seat at the table. Push for better human rights and that will cover everyone. Where to begin? I guess at the beginning. Arms are an inalienable right of the people codified into law. You must first get over that hurdle to pass new laws to affect gun ownership. At the federal level and historically there is no law really directly protecting trans individuals. Second: trans individuals are like 1% of the US population while 25% of the population own firearms. It’s much easier to pass laws against a smaller demographic than a larger one.

Like the Necrons have the Celestial Orrery which may be one of the greatest technological achievements presented so far along with megastructures and time travel, but Golden Age humanity was right there with them (or their Men of Iron were at least). George Floyd is an example of extrajudicial murder which brought to light or, for the moment anyway, changed policing and racial grievances. None of which is a war btw. Or maybe just a “war on injustice” in the same sense there’s a “war on drugs”.
