Well, we'll get to that blame when the time comes but right now it's your fault

No sharp objects past airport security, what do the restaurants do inside the airport?
 in  r/stupidquestions  1d ago

Fortunately I have a licensed trebuchet permit that works at the airport in some states

A casino but all the money won by the house goes to charity

Supplements the general fund*

At least in CA. A  lot of the money goes to education but... then the education budget is cut by the same amount. Not really adding anything to an already under funded system

Tipping culture in the US has gotten out of control!
 in  r/tipping  3d ago

So only tip cash if I'm gonna tip serves a duel purpose - seperate the tip from some random percentage (which wildly includes tax sometimes) and keeps square/paypal/toast etc out of the servers/business pockets too

I started supplementing with creatine + adaptogens daily. After 3 months, I’ll never go back.

5g is considered an effective dose and takes about 1wk to 'saturate'. You should be increasing your water intake ~1.5x as your body starts to retain more water in your muscle

Trump considering revoking tariff exemptions for cheap shipments from China, Reuters reports
 in  r/wallstreetbets  4d ago

I think the reality is there is a mix on temu. Overruns,  literally the same thing but made extra for QA. Knockoffs,  visibly the same but made from cheaper materials or processes which may be worse for you, and I'm sure other things too

Musk Calls Governor Tim Walz ‘Huge Jerk’ After Mocking Tesla Stock
 in  r/electriccars  8d ago

Channel 5 has a good clip on the spiral of Elon, based on a documentary they put out about a guy who also spiraled into MAGA. The documentary is called dear Kelly.

https://www.dearkellyfilm.com/

Between getting stuck between stages of grief as family crumbles,  relative security eroding (a fortune and position as the richest man build mostly on hype and leverage), and relevance collapsing (real life Tony stark he ain't). Trying to recapture that becomes an increasingly desperate and manic endeavor.

Work just sent Remote activated cameras to be on during work hours. Is this legal?
 in  r/remotework  10d ago

Get a small amount of Vaseline and put on the lens. Put clear tape over it so everything is 'visible' but out of focus

My first thought was it was a couch being... ejected?  Then realized it's a door very close to the camera perspective

It’s not just you — BART sucks on Tuesdays now
 in  r/bayarea  13d ago

Isn't this thread any about driving with headphones on?

If I'm using headphones as a headset for calls, i don't understand how that can be illegal. Obviously,  I shouldn't be using noise canceling but that's next to impossible to prove.

Whats the difference between noise canceling headphones and hands free calling? Genuinely curious (assuming the headphones have modes and is using ambient mode)

R1: No screenshots or pics where the only focus is a screen. I saw these got removed so, here they are again. If they're this sloppy with 'Opsec'...

Not only that,  trumps made a really weird pitch for EVs in general. We're gonna destroy the infrastructure and cut subsidies,  but they're great cars and you should buy one!
