Unmatch. Not even worth the response.

Do you think we're headed for world war 3?
I don't think so. If there was a WW3 it'll be over in a day maybe two and the majority of the world will be gone. That is why there won't be a WW3 it'll just be here today gone tomorrow

Can we talk about Wizard spells for a minute?
Just out of curiosity Olumidez! If I am level 60 and I am fighting a mob that is level 70 and debuffed to 0 resists. Would the Lure spell have the same chance to land as a Draught spell? Just because level makes a difference when landing spells.

Only saw season 1 (thought it was okay..) never got around to season 2 (I've read all the books)...so is season 3 like? Good?
I know I’ll probably get some criticism for this and my views on it, but the show will never be as good as the books. Unfortunately, the adaptation has taken far too many creative liberties, significantly altering the story—for the worse. That said, as a die-hard fan, I’ll still watch it to the end.
The books and the show both contain progressive themes, which wouldn’t be a problem if there were a sense of balance. However, the show leans so heavily into multiple lesbian relationships that it overshadows the original intent of the books. If they had kept Elayne and Aviendha’s bond true to the source material—where both end up with Rand—it would make far more sense. A polyamorous relationship would even fit well in today’s storytelling landscape. Instead, they’ve bizarrely kept Egwene with Rand, despite the fact that their romantic arc should have ended, and have sent Min off with Mat in a nonsensical storyline. Meanwhile, Nynaeve and Elayne are in Tanchico, when Mat should be with the Aiel visiting Rhuidean.
And where is Thom? His absence is baffling, considering he plays a crucial role in the development of multiple characters. Padan Fain is another glaring omission—one of the most sinister, well-written villains in the series, yet after season one, he’s all but vanished except for a few minutes in season two. Perrin’s story arc was also severely mishandled. His entire family was already wiped out in the books (aside from a distant cousin he later learns about), but instead of sticking to that, the show added a completely unnecessary wife just to kill her off in a "fridge moment."
Then there's Moiraine. Her current storyline is a mess, and it’s frustrating to watch such an important character be handled so poorly. And don’t even get me started on Elaida—every time she speaks, it’s painful. The casting choice for her is a disaster. As for Gawyn and Galad, they look like budget versions of Ken dolls, completely missing the presence and charisma they had in the books.
And then there’s Mat—my favorite character. His arc is one of the best in the entire series, yet the show has completely butchered his backstory. They turned his family into a bunch of losers, which was never the case in the books. Mat’s journey is supposed to be one of growth, luck, and unexpected heroism, but so far, it feels like they’ve taken everything compelling about him and watered it down.
That being said, the show has managed to get some key book moments right, and those glimpses of authenticity do redeem it somewhat. But overall, I knew they would butcher the adaptation—I just didn’t think it would be this bad. At this point, the only way to enjoy it is to view it as an entirely separate entity, unrelated to the books. That’s how I watch it now: not as an adaptation of The Wheel of Time, but as its own thing.
If you can do that, you might still find some enjoyment in it. But if you’re looking for a faithful retelling of Robert Jordan’s masterpiece, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Malazan first time reader
Yeah there is lots of stuff you won't know until later and even then you still won't understand til much later. Think of it as discovering the world around you much like the characters themselves. They don't really know much about what's happening. There is a word that gets bandied about on Malazan Reddit and that is RAFO (Read and Find Out). Malazan is a journey, you haven't reached the destination and in lots of ways that journey is still happening 🙂

Do you consider watching onepace as watching the anime
I consider it watching the manga. One Piece has too much filler and pointless moments

AIO Husband asking a woman to get drinks
It seems innocent to me. After 11 years together, it's clear he's committed to you. His outgoing personality suggests the drink was just a friendly gesture. It's not unusual to strike up friendships with people you meet on planes. I have a female friend from Australia whom I met on a flight, and we quickly became close. My wife also became great friends with her when we visited Sydney.

Pretty much the only assessment I can make
I agree with this assessment 👌🏻

Nice girl on steroids
Yeah dude, autism isn't an excuse to act the way you did. You just burned a potentially great relationship and also impacted her future relationships.

AIO or is my cousin a little racist?
🤔 I see no racism, I see ignorance and stupidity abound

This is Min erasure
I've accepted they have utterly butchered the show and watch it as it's own individual thing. I don't recognise it as The Wheel of Time, I call it The Wheel of Woke. I'll finish it because I don't like leaving things unfinished, but the show is not The Wheel of Time. I'm hoping in the next 10 years or so some AI Wizard will make an animated version that is true to the books 👌🏻

The God is Not Willing
Mallick Rel is emperor the slimy scum bag! He features heavily in The Malazan Empire series. Unfortunately Laseen dies in a sad way too. In the Book of the Fallen series (the first series I read in the Malazan world) I really didn't like Laseen and by the time she dies I actually liked her and felt sorry for her too. Path to Ascendancy series (which I read 2nd) touches on her origins quite a bit and it made me like her even more. When she died in The Malazan Empire series it was a sad moment personally 😕

ONE PIECE Chapter 1144 — Brief Spoilers
Man I must have missed that Alabasta Palace is 3000 years old... It's strange that when looking at the Palace from a distance, I got Hanging Gardens of Babylon vibes... Maybe the water levels didn't just rise maybe it went down too?

I do not understand characters motivations, specially the T’lan Imass
She did kill her family I messed that up when doing the italics. Have edited to reflect that.
In Gardens of the Moon when Tattersall died but was reborn through a mix of sorcery. The presence of Pran Chole's essence also affected it too.
As a result, Pran Chole is effectively Silverfox’s "father," at least in a spiritual and magical sense.
The scene where Tattersail died was a key moment in my first experience with Malazan Book of the Fallen. It was the moment that cemented my view that this series is something special. I was sad to see her go, and there are many other moments like that throughout the series that hit just as hard.

Why are uk lorry drivers like this?
2nd comment! I also love all the comments saying report him to the company. 9/10 transport managers will just have a laugh about it with that guy and say the car driver was driving like fool (imagine a much ruder word here that rhymes with cat). He is very lucky he didn't lose control mounting that curb and swipe that tanker... it's not flammable but it is VERY bad for the environment. Especially aquatic life and the fumes are bad too in general. Not condoning any of the driving here by the way. All 3 of the drivers (both lorries and car) should have there licences revoked.

You'd never guess it was Ian Roberts Transport by this post!

Why are uk lorry drivers like this?
I'm with you on that one. The guy who posted this video who I assume is also the driver has just submitted his own evidence for reckless driving

You'll actually find quite a range of levels. With new game+ people are starting from level 1 again quite frequently (I'm not one of those lunatics though) and also altaholic is real here. You'll find exp and group content across all levels 💪🏻
