Yeah, that's a good point. How much can training make a difference in an individual attribute?

I thought I had uploaded the screenshots but they're up now! Man, the elderstatesman, has 14 compared to Enekos 13. Does this indicate older players potential decline?

How can anyone enjoy playing solos?
 in  r/CODWarzone  May 18 '20

Personally there's just not enough contracts in solo's. If there was more contracts, would drag the game to other locations. Therefore, the number of players is higher for longer so it's harder to get a contract which just slows the game down. If you can't get a contract, why leave a building when everywhere else has been cleared? As it is difficult to get anymore cash or weapons after the first drop.

Also, with the new solos - there just isn't an achievement with a kill until near the end. If you killed someone previously, an area was cleared and you had changed the course of the game.

Dairy and gluten free diet = zero energy..help!
 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Nov 10 '18

I'm from Britain and we have gluten free pasta which was a god send when I tried to sort out my stomach issues. So I just continued like I normally did before dropping it. Having something like oat milk I could have porridge in the morning. I also basically began to make everything from scratch. Also, honey, honey on everything for energy

Was Josh Kerr of Scotland not England!! Josh is normally one willing to take it on, but he was on the inside in the line up and with how slow ot went off, would be difficult to be anywhere but the front

Where can I print something in Aberdeen?
 in  r/Aberdeen  Apr 23 '16

Download the Ryanair app, can get your boarding pass on it! Works on andriod or apple phones. Once you've got the pass on your phone you don't need internet connection to use it. Is handy!

If not, the library should allow you to print off things. Not 100% sure on that one though.

Tuesday General Q and A - April 19 2016
 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Apr 19 '16

I had a foot injury over Christmas which meant I couldn't run for around 4 weeks. What I did was I replaced any running I'd do, I'd do on the crosstrainer (eliptical, whatever that thing is called). So, any track sessions/tempos I'd do on the crosstrainer and even did my long runs. It's fucking boring not going to lie, but that's what I did haha.

I slowly got back while doing like 80% crosstrainer/20% running before slowly getting to pretty much 100% running now. After around a week of even doing 1 or 2 runs I felt great, and raced better than I had been beforehand after a few weeks.

I got called weird for doing 100 minutes on the bloody thing, but worked a treat. I know someone else who did something similar and they had a similar outcome.

Obviously, some injuries can't do crosstrainer like many muscular injuries which are more difficult to manage when injured. For me, I say there is a need to speak physio/doctor for advice for those.

Not sure if this works for US viewers, but works in the UK. Only need to make an account - only needs email.

Apparently not avaible in the US. Bummer. Use proxy if you really want to watch. Works here without account (UK): http://www.athleticsweekly.com/featured/boston-marathon-2016-live-stream-and-video-41763/

 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Apr 17 '16

If you feel you need a break. You probably need a break. Your body knows best (most of the time!)

 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Apr 13 '16

We've witnessed what has come about the whole Russian team being backed doping wise. No reason to assume that British Athletics is squeaky clean too. Britain probably has been better at hiding it ie being best buds with the us probs helps

 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Apr 13 '16

As a Brit I hope that she was 100% clean as she was one of the athletes I looked up to hugely as I was growing up. I also like to assume that innocent until proven guilty, but the fact she was/is so far ahead of anyone ever just seems too much to believe is legit.

I've heard the argument about her being able to train so much harder/longer than anyone else, which yeah could be physiological/physiological and probably is. If she didn't dope, she'd still be an incredible athlete however that 1/2/3% could easily have been helped by epo or whatever blood doping which was going on. If they did it so well in cycling, it would have been done in running too no doubt about it.

 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Apr 13 '16

Doubt any time soon. No one has ever come close to it. I'm sure the closest anyone has come is just under 3 minutes to the record.

I'm very skeptical of her performances tbh. She has had blood problems and also has asthma, just seems to suspicious for me.

/r/AdvancedRunning what are your running philosophies?
 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Jan 20 '16

What's the reasoning behind this? I train in the same shoes that I wear every day and I've never had a problem (which I know of). I've been doing this for years since I walk to uni every day and would mean carrying another pair of shoes with me!

What kind of shape am I in?
 in  r/AdvancedRunning  Dec 31 '15

You have a similar 8k to me, and the workouts look around about what I'd run for them (not done them though! ). I've only done 5k a couple of times on road, but I wasn't tested, more to win the race. I had done it in around 4.55-5.00 per mile. I'm positive I could run a faster. Just my experience, everyone converts training into racing differently, so you could be faster
