It is so refreshing to see an actual Fortress, after having to watch the boring Ship that was in MOS
Emd of the day it's this simple, while it was a ship, that was different for Superman. The fortress is unique to him but we'd also seen it plenty before. He wanted to try something different and lots of us enjoyed that too, myself included.
I still like the fortress too. I can only speak for myself, but if someone says they like something I don't I just don't feel like it's something that needs "correcting". There's no right opinon. You have yours, they have theirs.
But you're distracting from the real issue. What do you think about our pizza franchise? I'm thinking we roll with that Mexican flavour and make the experience spicy papi.

No I got that, I just want a taco flavoured pizza is my response. We could make that my friend. Se could make that a reality and make pizza money.

It's the way you interact with people on here. Hobbies are supposed to be fun. And interacting with others who share them a positive experience. Not about being right or arguing about who has the better take. I don't think it's a big deal, again I just find it funny. You do you my guy, it's your life.

Nothing you say affects me bud, I don't care about your opinions on any of this lol. Just find your behaviour here amusing and lacking any self awareness. But keep telling yourself the downvotes are because everyone else is the problem haha ๐

You strike me as someone who knows how to engage in their hobbies in a healthy way with others.

What movies were saved by studio interference, that most people don't realize?
I agree and I'm always surprised when people critisize that particular part. Since I first saw it in the theatre, I thought it was pretty clear that the movie was saying he didn't cause the war, but fuelled it.
Humans fought the war on their own but because that violent nature already existed he could nurture it and fuel the carnage.
Did he get heavily involved? Sure, but he wasn't the source. Humanity did that all on their own. He just helped to bring out the worst in them.

Nine Years Ago Today, (MARCH 25, 2016), BATMAN V SUPERMAN was released - What was your favorite moment from it?
Yeah I'm pretty sure a few years back when it was being talked about there were slme Jay Oliva tweets being posted explaining it was an early idea that was scrapped well before filming.

Is The Dark Knight Trilogy Still the Best Superhero Trilogy Ever?
Thanks mate I'll take a look. Would be interesting to see what worked for what is clearly so many people that like it.

Is The Dark Knight Trilogy Still the Best Superhero Trilogy Ever?
Damn I really feel like I must be missing out on something with these movies. It really surprises me when people rate them so highly and even suggest the first is the best superhero movie out there. The animation does look really cool but that's about it for me. The stories are serviceable and didn't really have any emotional impact on me afterwards.
What is it that resonates with you from these movies if I may ask?

It was never actually going to happen. It was an early idea they later scrapped for the best.

Ironheart Images Reveal Fresh Look at Riri Williamsโ New Suit in MCU Show
With you there mate. Bendis has written a lot of great stuff. As someone who started reading Superman Rebirth when it came out, I was really disappointed in it and gave up after a couple of volumes in.
Picked up Action comics years later and loved it. And knowing Bendis takes over thers eventually is fine by me. His Superman can't be any more boring than Tomasi's.

Would Nirn be dark if the Magna-Ge didn't escape? Would people not have magic without the "stars"?
Well no not really, and it's actually kind of cool to think about. Just not something I ever thought about before.

Would Nirn be dark if the Magna-Ge didn't escape? Would people not have magic without the "stars"?
Does that mean everything was dark prior to his departure? Did the aedra/daedra come into existence and start creating mundus in a dark universe?

LEAVING NEVERLAND, the 2019 Michael Jackson documentary that shook the world, has effectively vanished after HBO-MAX removed it due to a non-disparagement clause
Exactly. People who come to his defense just want to justify liking him despite who he was and what he did, nothing more. If he wasn't the king of pop, but just a regular guy with the same personality, interest in children and behaviour, nobody would think twice about him being suss and we wouldn't be having this discussion.

What are your honest thoughts on The Batman (2022) ?
Liked the aesthetic for Gotham and the detective style approach to the story. Colin Farrell was great as The Penguin. I thought the story was uninspired and boring with no real hook to lure you in, or emotional investment in it.
Bruce walking around with his fringe in his eyes everywhere and saying things like "you're not my dad" to Alfred felt really silly and one dimensional. Didn't feel like Batman to me at all. Plus the Batsuit was meh.
Andy Serkis is always awesome in everything he's in but he had next to nothing to do in the film so that was a let down, same as Wright as Gordon. Great casting choice let down with nothing to do and no depth to the character.
I'd say overall most aspects of the movie suffered from the same problem. Seems accurate on the surface but it's kind of superficial. Castings are great but the characters have little depth and not much to say or do during the massive runtime. Gotham looks probably the best it ever has on screen, but has never felt so small and lacking detail.
In Batman Begins alone, we see the Waynes before their death, we see the Wayne board members and the corporate politics, Rachel shows us the legal institution and how it interacts with Arkham, the Judge who hangs out in Falcone's spots which also showed us the criminal element, and the homelessness and suffering around it all. Then there's the GCPD and seeing all of these parts of Gotham made the city itself feel like a living, breathing character of it's own. I got none of that from the 3 hours of the 2022 film.
After 3 watches all I can say about the story is: the city has been corrupt for decades, someone is behind it all and who could it possibly be, turns out it was the only criminal who's been around for decades that's even in the movie. God that was a lot, my condolences to any poor soul who reads that lol.

Okay now this is cool
Welcome to the hobby haha once you're in you'll be hooked lol.

Okay now this is cool
The Venom figure should be fine, and the Spidey figurez can still be put in dynamic poses just don't leave them like that too long that's all. I'm not sure they're pleather. I think they used something else for them specifically, but it can still be damaged if not careful. I keep mine in a display case so they stay in good knick.

Okay now this is cool
It's usually things with pleather that are a concern. For what it's worth, I bought a DX10 Terminator over a year ago which has a full leather costume and it was released in 2009. Still in immaculate condition and no real signs of wear and tear.
The only thing to bear in mind with Spidey figures is the suit material can deteriorate faster when he's put in more extreme poses that stretch the fabric. Hope that helps.
2
Which of these is your favorite Spidey? Mine is still McFarlane!
I haven't read any Hulk comics outside of Immortal Hulk, I didn't realise that was controversial though. Of all the Hulk art I've seen so far his is easily the best. He really leaned into the grotesque in a way that is needed for a body horror character like that.

I mean look mate in one of your first replies to me you talked about "being correct" because if someone likes the ship, and you don't think that counts as the fortress. So it certainly comes across that way. .
To be honest, yeah I've always liked the design and found it memorable and easy to picture. It really worked for me with the alien designs. I like fresh takes. I've been reading Tamaki's run on detective comics and at the moment Bruce doesn't have the cave and has to use the sewer system under Gotham to hoard his tech and get around the city, and I think it's a cool idea to play with for a while.
I think you're being far to soft on these people, they come to our establishment and they sign on for the burn! If they get 3rd degree burns that's not on us.
