It is still that you buy a headset and a few years later its ancient. It is not really essential and it is kind of anti social. Gamers have spend 3000 dollars on their pc setup and those people love their screens and doesnt really adapt towards vr for some reason. The quest 3 had some drawbacks like you could use them for 1 hour and then get headackes. Mostly I think the antisocial thing and that you remove yourself from your surroundings is the biggest hurdle for normies.
