Are You Fed Up?
Are you fed up (frustrated, confused and concerned) with the lack of transparency and effectiveness regarding the unhoused population?
I am not afraid to say I think the city/state dropped the ball and is counting on "liberal hearts" to bleed money for a cause that they do not have a solution for.
Affordable housing is NOW a buzz word while residents VOTE it down in the neighborhood; also the unhoused (not all so please resist) have made it clear in many cases it is not about receiving shelter.
EDIT: I am teacher here in King County and I have several students of diverse backgrounds whose families are desperate for help and assistance; we work with so many agencies that change rules and systems regularly leaving parents scrambling...there are a wide array of reasons why they are experiencing being unhoused and drugs is NOT even close at top
