The Superman slander towards the end is not justified. Superman has unearned god powers but his story isn't a power fantasy. His is the story of a normal guy who wants to do good with the gifts he has. He doesn't see himself as a god or higher being, he sees himself as someone who just wants to help. (Unless your only experience with superman is from a Zack Snyder film because that fucker literally did not read a single comic and thought he was "lame") If anything that power fantasy type character would be Homelander (I cant really say Omni man since he has development to become a better person).

The devs apologized and clarified that that is only for unfair criticism like "Its a shitty overwatch rip off" not normal criticisms. The devs are very vocal and communicate well in their discord. Also I heard this was overblown by someone who did the same thing when OW2 came out but Id need to look into that more.
