While not just Romance but more Romantasy, this quote from A Court of Silver Flames broke me and made me cry:

'Never again would she be weak. Never again would she be at someone's mercy. Never again would she fail. Never again, never again, never again.'

I was SA'ed (not graped mercifully) in highschool. It happened more than 12 years ago but sometimes I still had panic attacks or I could not be touched in the areas I was SA'ed. Then I read this quote and something just cracked in me. I always say 'never again' in my mind when I need to be more courageous (within reason, of course, like when I want to regain my sexuality) and I even have it tattooed on my thigh. This quote mended me in ways I didn't know it could. I now have less panic attacks and touching is not as dreadful anymore :')

We also have something similar in Romanian: if you remained silent, you'd have remained a philosopher (in Romanian it rhymes); but I like the poet part better, haha

I remember OP said some posts ago (at the letter O I believe) that there was an previous unfinished post with alphabet quotes and he is trying not to put the same final results as in that post. Maybe this is what happened here, too?

Bună! Când eram mică aveam un căţeluş de pluş pe nume Patrocle (am ataşat poze). Îl aveam cu mine mereu numai că, la un moment dat, s-a pierdut. Cred că l-am pierdut cândva în clasele primare (acum am 27 de ani) și m-am tot gândit la el toți anii ăştia. Este posibil să îl fi pierdut ori când ne-am mutat dintr-un bloc in altul, dar nu aş putea fi sigură. În orice caz, mă întrebam dacă ați mai văzut pluşuri ca și Patrocle și dacă ați știi de unde as putea sa cumpăr/comand. Nu mă aștept să îl găsesc chiar pe Patrocle DAR întâmplarea face ca Patrocle să nu aibă o ureche; cumva i s-a rupt la un moment dat și încă am urechea. Dacă se întâmplă să ştiţi de vreun pluş fără o ureche, să îmi spuneți. Motivul pentru care am pus în acest subreddit este pentru că am o cunoștință care are un pluş din aceeași colecție, doar că este un urs brun in loc de un căţel, așa că tind sa cred că această colecție a fost făcută poate in Romania sau cel puțin a avut succes in Romania. Vă mulțumesc anticipat şi dacă aveți vreo întrebare, nu ezitați să îmi spuneți.
