I hate to say it but YES, there fears are warranted. There is a woman who has been in the US for 50 years, and has permanent residence, she went to the Philippines, came home in February to the US and has been in detention ever since awaiting a trial date in June. I mean I do not want to put scare in anyone but right now, even being born here and my family being here for the last over 200 years, I am afraid to leave. A example (I mean nothing like you are going threw) before the election my brother (I am disabled and on Social Security and medicare) and he knows all the trouble I went threw last time Trump was in office. (And that is not the only thing there are other things to in my life that Trump effects) so you think he would be compassionate enough and not vote for him. But no he talks highly of him and even as Trump is trying to take away things from me so I could be on the street too, he continues to talk high about him. So for my own health and welfare I told him, I can not call, see, or talk with him anymore, So I lost my brother my only family left because of his views. I just want to say I am NOT a lawyer, but was a investigator for real criminals (Armed robbery and so on) for years decades ago so something have changed. And first get a lawyer and see what they say, if they do not give you good news, possibly move if you can, since you have to check in, if you move, use a PO BOX and so on, it makes it harder NOT impossible to find someone.. Now again not saying you should, but always talk to a lawyer. I did read a lot of the FAQs and kind of what not to do and what to do to protect yourself (.onion sites and so on) but staying on the Tor browser seems exactly like a regular browser except my ad blocker programs do not block stuff, Example if I go on google and look up stuff I do not have a ad pop up and it goes right to the article or video, if I use Tor it goes to the website (same as google) but sometimes it does not, the videos do not work or work really slow. So if it is the same and I can not get any real or new information on things I look up, why should anyone use it. I would rather just look at the generic stiff from Google and try to contact my friends in other countries and see how they are.

What I would like to know is where do they get taken to in Mexico. You are correct ICE MUST have a warrant to go inside your home and do not need it if you are in a car. However the law does state they must perform the actions of arrest in a safe manner. Example if there is a child in the back seat they can not smash windows and throw glass onto the child. And there are 2 forms of ICE one is for fugitive capture and the other is regular arrest, if you look at the uniforms both were here, so yes they can smash the window (Its the same if they were running away from the police and the car was stopped) but if the woman was indeed pregnant then they did not perform the duty correctly.
