I've tested both mice so my opinion is legit not something out of reviews or YouTube vids.
This doesn't prove any right or wrong, it's just from my point of view.
In my opinion, Razer Cobra Pro is better than Razer Viper V2 Pro, due to
Value, in my country Razer V2 Pro is 699, and Viper is 599, that is a 100 difference.
Design-wise, personally at first I was like this is just too aggressive and "gamey" looking(I like Lamzu's design), but after some time it actually looks decent and quite nice. It's like a Viper/basilisk hybrid, it has the shape and feel of the viper, and you added the gloss strips and rubber sides where the basilisk has, to me, it's like a perfect combination if you like viper and basilisk.
Size-wise, the v2 Pro is slightly larger than the Cobra Pro which is more similar to the Viper Mini, for people with big hands you might be more comfortable with the v2 Pro than the Cobra. I have small hands(17.5cm) so I feel much better with the cobra.
Features, viper is known for its performance and Basilisk is known for its features, when you combine both together you get this mouse(even though no one asks for it). You get the "ultra" lightweight and shape(Viper Mini actually) from v2 pro and the extra buttons and RGB(you can turn it off if you don't like it) from Basilisk.
Weight, although it doesn't have the 58g v2 pro nor the 112g basilisk offers, it sits firmly at 77g which I think counts as in the "super light" weight category compared to the amount of stuff you get from Cobra Pro. (In my opinion, too light might cause issues like registers micro movement from our hands, v2 pro without wire actually feels like a hollowed shell reminds me of an eggshell) Personally, I think 77g is a sweet spot for people who wanna have a lightweight mouse but skeptical about the reduction of weight.
Technology, it has literally the same sensor and switches, which it's currently Razer's best. It also has a similar gliding experience. Sound-wise, cobra is much more silent than viper which has a loud click, it's like comparing a clicky switch and a tactile switch. Cobra Pro also supports a wide variety of connections in case you need it, it supports a dongle, wire, and Bluetooth where Viper v2 Pro misses out. Cobra Pro also supports wireless charging which that gadget is sold separately from Razer which it's optional. Other than that, everything remains the same.
Battery life, Cobra pro lasts longer than v2 Pro.
The final verdict, I've seen people complain about doubting the longevity of the rubber sides from Cobra Pro, I used Mamba Wireless from 2019-2023(4 years), and the sides stayed on til the end of 2023. By that time I think a lot of people already starting to change the mouse after all those clicks and damages it took so I think you don't need to worry about the grips. And for the back-heavy part, personally, it doesn't make much of a difference as the mouse stays on the surface the majority of the time instead of hovering. Weight is the only good thing I can think of for Viper v2 pro.
If you want the lightest and most competitive, features doesn't matter, go for Viper V2 Pro.
If you want a great all-rounding "ultra" lightweight mouse with all the latest features packed in, go for Cobra Pro.
Feel free to disagree with my opinion.

i had the same issue, randomly but rare(usually happen if i open or use my laptop for hours in) when im using spotify or youtube it will stretch/tear the audio and freezes the screen for a fraction of a sec and then back to normal, I check latencymon and it is has rly high ms during that moment(500-2k) in the red zone. still happening current but not as frequent back then. I brought official asus centre n couldn't reproduce the issue but left it there for 2 weeks n they said they couldn't find the issue so I gave up caring about it. that is rlly frustrating.
