This. I found sensor dust on footage, went to use "AI Remove" and it's gone.

The compact wireless mic era is silly

That's considered bad form by most mixers and will be duly noted if you're caught doing it. If you're just starting out and are lucky, the mixer be kind enough to give you a quick "mentoring moment" and let you know he doesn't want you doing it. If you're not so lucky you won't be asked back; no mixer hires a sound utility who is "hard on gear".

There's at least one "bullet" on every sound utility cart on every set in the US and beyond.

Stock market is crashing!
 in  r/economy  4d ago

Compare the numbers.

However, even before the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) opened on that fateful Thursday in 1929, the elevated equity prices were making investors and financial experts uneasy. On Sept. 5, at the annual National Business Conference, economist Roger Babson predicted that “sooner or later a crash is coming, and it may be terrific.” Throughout September, stock prices gyrated, with sudden declines and rapid recoveries.3

The jitters continued into October. In fact, on Oct. 23, the Dow fell 4.6%. A Washington Post headline exclaimed, “Huge Selling Wave Creates Near-Panic as Stocks Collapse.”4

By this time, the stock market had already fallen nearly 20% since its record close of 381 on Sept. 3. When trading opened on Thursday, Oct. 24, the Dow fell 11% in the first few hours.  Even more ominous was the heavy trading volume: It was to hit a record 12.9 million shares—three times the normal amount—by day’s end.5

However, on Black Monday, Oct. 28, it fell almost 13% in light trading, to 260.64. And that triggered an all-out panic the next day. By the end of trading on Tuesday, Oct. 29—Black Tuesday—the Dow had fallen to 230.07, a 12% loss.2

After the crash, the Dow continued sliding for three more years, bottoming out on July 8, 1932, at 41.22. It had lost almost 90% of its value since its high on Sept. 3, 1929. In fact, it didn’t reach that high again for 25 years, until Nov. 23, 1954.3

Tascam makes a very affordable piece of gear called the DR10L. It's not a transmitter which alleviates any concerns about hits. At this level of production it's a much better solution, IMO.

People who have "broken out" of a rural/isolated market, how did you do it?

"Maybe it matters more about client facing aspects of congeniality."

Yes, "client facing" or anyone else who will determine his hiring.

Building Around Existing Kit For Real Estate

I've been approached about doing some mid-level real estate videography/photography. I have a solid Pentax APC-C package but the video side only consists of a Sony E5000 with the kit 10-18-55mm f3.5-5.6 zoom, TTartisan 10mm 2.0 ultra wide prime, and a Crane 2S gimbal. I'm wondering what I might need, if anything, to round out the video side. Any suggestions are appreciated.

On a side but related note, how many real estate photographers/videographers CTO the windows to match the interior practical lighting?

Media production of any kind involves long days, technical challenges, and deadlines. Being the kind of person that other's want to be around for long periods of time under stress wins over "raw talent" every time. I've seen it time and time again. People who are a pleasant under fire win the day. Such a person is forgiven a mistake or two and gets more work than the "zero defects" person who no one wants to interact with on set. Both on set and off, everyone wants to be around congenial people who haven't left any smoldering bridges in their past, much less completely "burned" ones.

This does nothing for me when I need to recall it in the future for a similar scene.

I would rather not buy a rectilinear ultra wide angle lens if I can use my existing fisheye lens. Thanks.

Wow. If she can knock out a full song based on this she'll make millions.

Buying 18650 batteries? Start here.

I came across this while looking for spare batteries to use in my camera gimbal. The manufacturer doesn't appear to make them anymore, though they still sell the gimbals that use them which seems odd. Nevertheless, I'm actually more confused now.

Here's a link to a pic of the battery: https://d1rzxhvrtciqq1.cloudfront.net/uploads/images/listingimage/835049/image/original-b864ec75bec167ebddd7dc36b9aeacc0.jpg

The original VM was a more accurate iteration of the original than any of the contemporary Fenders at the time. That's why I chose it.

Redditors, how do you feel a grassroots political movement dedicated solely towards ruining Elon Musk's life specifically would fare?

About as many people as he is directly responsible for getting fired already, wouldn't you say? Tesla employees choose to continue working for a fascist so they get what they deserve.
