That is one game and that might be fixed by a patch/mod. Basing a 150 dollar increase for a 60 dollar game is not what I would call smart. And if someone is determined they can absolutely turn stuff off.

And again, black myths performance is so wide it could be considered an outlier.

I havent played black myth, so if thats two games out of all the games I have or know that you cant exactly turn off raytracing (either at all or via config) then thats two games out of the few dozen where raytracing is required.

And raytracing on AMD is okay. Not as good as nvidia, so it really is nonissue with RT.

Most users wont use NVENC or not really care. Especially since encoding is not really a HUGE deal anymore unless youre trying to get the newest codec. I can speak on this because I have a media library through plex that has run a series of cards over the years to do so.

DLSS and Frame Gen are causing crashes. This has been confirmed. And has been an issue since the release of the 50 series.

And as well with GSync. Flip either on and you will experience crashing.

The only features there that may be worth the 150 dollar increase is DLSS and FG. But with AFMF on AMD and its previous gen, it has come a long way and looks better than lossless' own 3.0 which already looked great. And I did significant testing on my own to be sure. Even bought extra cards to test. Even testing this on multiGPU systems to be certain.

So it really is tit for tat. FSR3.1 is comparable to DLSS now, and with 4 its not really all that distinguishable unless you are going frame by frame analysis.

I doubt that. There is one game off of the top of my head that does that and it is still possible to disable that and that is darktide.

And with AMD measurably scooping up more of the market share this time around I sincerely doubt that will be the case.

Also, AMD can raytrace sure its 15-20% faster on team grean you can just lower the RT quality...

The difference between the two is as other comments mention, they go blow for blow. On average I think they are within 5% or so across all games.

But given both mine and recent friends driver issues with nvidia that have been confirmed to occur with Gsync and DLSS...

I would go the 9070 XT, and especially since its 150 dollars cheaper IIRC.

Driver issues aside, is a 5% average difference across all games worth the extra 150?

I fly a corsair. Adding a person or 3 means I have to wait for everyone to show up if they want to bring their ships.

Realistically, missions take longer in that manner, than they do if they are on my corsair, or if I am SOLO in my corsair.

The whole thing about texas that people fail to understand is that democrats and republicans at the state level here because they largely overlap more than they do at the federal level.

Yea no problem! I used to come in with the mentality that printers are replicators, so the overhangs always bugged me.

But then I got to where rather than perfect overhangs, I would shoot for the best overhangs I could manage while also guaranteeing they break away with no isse.

I recommend shooting for that!

But if this is the layers SUPPORTED by the supports, this is to be expected. They will not look perfect even if the support 100% covers the stuff it is supposed to support.

For support to work properly, there needs to be a gap of air between the support and the print, otherwise it will fuse like it is a normal print.

There is no way around this unless you do arc overhangs and there are drawbacks to that too.

If you want less problems with supports, by right you would have to switch to resin where this is minimized. There is no way around overhangs otherwise. You can minimize it, but you can never eliminate it.
