Oh man, lucky on buying out all the ngage games from you GameStop/EB games. By the time I got into it, they had pulled most of the ngage games & weren’t restocking anymore. But I remember scouring all of the ones in my county and was able to pick up a few games on clearance too (pocket kingdom, ssx, ashen, x-men legends, sonicN, tomb raider).

And major props on using it for 8 years, I used it mainly as a console as my family wasn’t on Cingular/AT&T. But I definitely stretched the hell out of my 128mb mmc card with music, videos, and random apps/emulators. Good times, good times.

Recently, I’ve been trying to play games off a 1gb Kingston mmc I bought but I keep getting errors on both my QD & OG models. I even bought one of those preloaded 1gb cards you’ll see on eBay but it either came corrupted or my QD immediately corrupted it :/

What a throwback, that packaging just filled my mind with the memories of me buying my nagage qd at GameStop.

I got it a few weeks after they dropped the price to $99 & the packaging changed to that plastic instead of the cardboard box. I remember using my trade in credit to finally get one and the gs worker kinda scoffing at me for actually wanting one 🥲

It’s prob the same guys that I ran into at the Laguna Hills post office a few months back — they’re scum.

They gather in groups of 3-5 to intimidate & harass people on their way in and out of the post office in an attempt to provoke an interaction/reaction (they’ll cut that portion off from their videos in order to look like they’re were targeted). They also tend to pick on seniors as they know they’re easier marks. They say they’re doing it as part of their 1st amendment right & to spread awareness on public privacy but they simply use that as a veneer for their youtube channel monetization ($) & clout chasing.

SSX: out of bounds, it was such a great pick and play game. It was prob also my most played nagage game.

Idk man, speaking from my personal experience, it was a daily occurrence with me in LA/OC (even friends and family that drive a Prius still face the same issue).

It’s funny how it was always a truck pulling that move, never had an issue with other vehicles (not even teslas).

100% — I always had this happen to me too when I had my Prius. I used to tell people I could be going 120mph on the fast lane and a troglodyte in a truck would still be tailgating me.

Would formatting the (us) memory card before solve any issues with a Japanese GameCube? I had never heard of that issue but curious on how to avoid it
