its not about you having money. imo, the person replying is not questioning that. keeping track of the details is foundational to getting good value from this hobby. its easy to bite off more than you can chew at times

take stock of what u have now and make sure the fundamentals are in place before you resume adding complexity.

Trying to work on a "Groundhog Day" one-shot. Any cool ideas?
 in  r/mattcolville  20d ago

i had the party visit a town where there s a wedding at noon morning, some scuffles, a guy drinking himself silly in a bar, and everytime there s a loop they learn a little bit more about whats going on. they were close on the second day to figuring it out but by the third walkthrough they made it down the mineshaft where the Dao who was causing the temporal shifts to occur lurked and they killed it before a fourth day could occur. my inspiration was a majora s mask type of feel

ur paying a lot for fees for perks which overlap as well. not too relevant if u just have a chase sapphire or venture x but if u have all of these and a gold ur losing a lot in annual fees for redundancy

Amex Platinum & Gold + Delta Gold Combo?
 in  r/CreditCards  29d ago

platinum might not be worth the AF for what youre using it for, you could look to replace that w/ another card but if you're ok w/ a high AF then its probably fine

AmEx Delta Branded vs. Non-Branded Amex Cards
 in  r/amex  Mar 05 '25

in order to make the amex platinum even kind of worth it imo i think ud need to maximize the coupons it gives like the rideshare. if ur not going to do that either bc its not worth it or whatever other reason, its a pain, etc. id just go w a delta gold
