I agree. I said in another comment but I think having all the characters know each other/work closely with each other kind of shrinks the world down. If they'd used 2 new random victors as the mentors it would have expanded the world more.
Same with Plutarch. I would've loved to see a new character who shares his motivations but isn't connected to anyone we know in the main series. Having another capitol character who is planning the rebellion (or even just having a few hints about them being involved with nothing confirmed) but is never seen in the main series has so many interesting implications. Kind of similar to Cinna and how everyone speculates about how he came to the rebellion, and how never having that question answered makes the world feel a lot wider

I agree with your last point about world building. I’m a huge asoiaf fan and one of my favourite things about those books is how vast the world seems. Small characters (who only appear a couple times) can play a large role in the story and then we never hear about them again, and it leaves readers wondering about their lives which just naturally expands the world.
Your comment about mags and wiress really drives this home to me; while I love learning more about them, I think it would expand the world so much more if we’d gotten two brand new victors who aren’t necessarily connected to any of the other books/characters.
It’s one of the things I really hate about the Lucy gray = president coin theory; having those two characters be the exact same shrinks the world down as opposed to fleshing it out (if that makes sense).

I totally get this. I have a specific turtleneck sweater from H&M that has lasted me soooo many years of daily wear on dog walks, and I would absolutely pay more for the exact same one

I actually think the colour looks really good on you! I have a similar skin tone and just assumed it would look bad on me but I should maybe reconsider 🤔

There’s a small local running store in my town that has a small lululemon section

I totally agree with this! I know a few people are saying that that's basically what this subreddit is, but I think as they also said, most people come here every so often when they've reached a breaking point. I think it would be great to have a sort of "daily/weekly/monthly/whatever maintenance group", if that makes sense? Something where people can just maybe chat with people about our dogs/stuff on a more regular basis (instead of randomly replying to a post and then moving on; not that there's anything wrong with that).
I don't really know anyone in real life who has a reactive dog, and I live in a really small town without much of a "reactive dog community". I think this sub is great when I need advice or something similar, but I don't find I really ever talk to the same people and just chat about the more mundane aspects of having a reactive dog.
Maybe something like a weekly mega thread where people can check in without having to make a specific post, or a discord group chat?

Hello, my dog is a mainly dog-reactive 7yo rescue German shepherd mix. She is extremely reactive with dogs, and less so with other distractions (like other animals, cars, people, bikes etc). She's mostly sight reactive (as in, doesn't react badly when she hears a dog barking but is way worse when she sees them) and does a loooooooot of staring on walks.
She also pulls very hard on her leash which we are currently working on. When this happens, I usually stop and wait for her to return to a loose leash walking position or a heel.
Lately she'll get to the end of her leash while staring at something in the distance (even if there's nothing there) and when we stop, she'll just keep staring. She'll then eventually look over her shoulder at the distance behind her, but not actually at me. After doing this for a while (longer than a minute usually), she'll eventually make eye contact with me. I want to reward her for "choosing" to look at me and engage with me instead of looking for any movement going on, but usually she still has a tight leash at this point.
So I guess my question is: should I reward her for eventually looking at me (and choosing to stop her staring trance) even though the leash is still tight? Or would rewarding her while the leash is tight reinforce the idea that she gets a treat while the leash is tight (which I don't want).
Sorry if this is too specific; she's just been very perceptive to the specific timing of receiving treats in the past, and I'm trying to make sure I'm not rewarding the wrong thing.

I wear my aligns all the time for running! They eventually pill a bit throughout the inner thigh, but overall I don't find it's a huge amount of piling; I get more from wearing a cross body purse all the time. I'm currently wearing my pair from 2017 and they really don't look worn out. Not sure about the newer aligns though, they might wear out quicker

Chrishell recently posted some behind the scenes of her doing confessionals, so I think it’s still filming

I'd have a look on eBay or Etsy. People usually charge a lot for them but it's probably the easiest way to get one

I agree with your thought about people now just using AI to list and not proof reading the results. I wonder how many returns will result from that issue, and if it will be enough for posh to remove the feature

Yes you got scammed.
1) Never send people photos via email/text
2) Don't click links from comments
3) If it's not showing as "sold" in your "sales" tab, you haven't sold the item and they're probably scamming you
4) People often get email scams. Again, if you get an email saying to "verify the sale" or "confirm your banking info" then check the "sales" tab on the poshmark app, and if there's nothing there, you're being scammed (even if the email looks official).
Basically, always check the "sales" tab. If it's not there, then you're probably being scammed. Never communicate with people off the platform, literally everything can be done on the app (so you don't actually need to check your poshmark emails or click any links).

side note but are lily's shoes reminding anyone else of goat hooves??

Have you tried doing cross country skiing? I've been getting knee pain from skiing recently, and I've been trying to go for a short cross country ski right after going downhill skiing. Idk why but I've been finding it helps lessen the knee pain I get after downhill skiing. Even doing like 20 minutes seems to make a difference for me

Bonus: this position hides your face, just in case your boyfriend walks into the ski shop during your boot fitting appointment!

As much as I love SOTR – this one pivotal scene makes no sense to me

I love the mental image of him giving the order to one of his peacekeepers/people who work for him to conduct this plan, and I absolutely want it in the movie because it seems so ridiculous
Snow/Ralph Fiennes: Okay send a peacekeeper in district twelve to the candy store, buy a bag of gumdrops, remove all colours except for red, poison them, make sure the gumdrop bag is identical condition to the one this teenager gave his girlfriend a few weeks ago, bring them to the meadow and place them on the ground in a spot where a 16 year old girl will be likely to pick them up and eat them
Random peacekeeper: 👁👄👁
