I work as a GS6 in DOD in an administrative position, I’ve only been in the fed govt for 6 months. Should I take the DRP or ride it out and see if I will get RIF’d?

I’m a probie. I’ve only been at it for just under 6 months. I’m taking some leave for the next few days to visit my sister and frolic in the mountains. I’m hoping that I will feel more grounded when I get back and that I’ll be able to make a clearer decision, but I sure as hell am leaning towards taking it. I saw someone mention making a pros and cons list - I might just do that to get it all out, might be easier to visualize at that point.

I will say this: the biggest reason I felt drawn to the fed govt was because of the great potential to land a remote position or a position that offered telework, and with that being taken away, my motivation for staying in the fed govt has dropped dramatically.

I love working in my garden and putting on an audiobook or a podcast and just playing in the dirt! Best stress relieving hobby.

Found aphids on my Brittlebush and bought Convergent lady beetles from the nursery. They worked very well
