I wanted to share the deck Idea I just had and maybe get some suggestions for potential directions to take this deck in and which cards to add. In case It isn't quite clear the Idea is to create a token of Oriss and then return the Oriss which has to be sacrificed to the legend rule to your hand. And then use her powerfull Grandeur ability.

You're different types of players. Your friends play the game and have fun by showing of their decks and the game doesn't get much deeper than that for them. You om the other hand play the game to strategise and win. And that kinda sucks cause on of you has to change otherwise your not gonna have fun playing magic together. My advice try to talk about it with your friends, they seem kinda dense but maybe you can make them understand where your coming from. Or build a very aggressive deck I'd advise [Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos] that deck will force them to see why it's necessary to sometimes immediately kill a commander on sight. It will also piss them of. Or they will understand that you commander is a threat that needs to be dealt with. On second thought you should use your friends deck which you stopped from winning instead.
