First time posting a mani 💅

It's so pretty on you 🥹 it's a bit lighter irl on me as well, but my phone camera insists on darkening the colours. In the 3rd photo of this post it looks more accurate.

Yeah, in indirect lightning it comes through way darker than I expected but it's still a very pretty lilac. Also my camera distorted the colours a bit. In the 3rd photo the colours are more accurate 💜

ILNP magnetics changed my brain chemistry for the better. This mani is 3 coats of ILNP lily magnetised with a neodymium bar magnet for 3 mins/coat, top coat is looks like get from trend !t up (DM, for all my European girlies. Super inexpensive but very efficient). 3rd pic is 2 coats of lily and no top coat

Hello! I live in Europe and I'm going to travel to Korea in a few weeks. Do you know any interesting non-gel nail polish brands that I could find there?

Help choose between ILNP jelly sparkly nudes

Haha, I love your enthusiasm!! 😍 it looks stunning on your swatch stick, albeit not my style (I look for a palate cleanser nude because all my other polishes are out there 🙈). But that holo is sooo juicy! Will keep my eyes posted for a England. There's a store in my country that ocassionally brings in some of their shades

Misc. Question Help choose between ILNP jelly sparkly nudes

Hi everyone! As the title says, I need some help choosing a jelly nude from ILNP for that "your nails but better look".

I have a neutral to pink-ish undertone (i.e., my fingers get pinky-red with temperature changes so my hands look a bit weird sometimes).

Anyway, I live in Europe and it's kind of a pain to get my hands on ILNP polishes so I nailed it down to the following shades: -ILNP birthday suit -ILNP bare -ILNP toasted -ILNP prancer

Any suggestions, swatches, opinions are greatly appreciated!!

Hello! Gorgeous mani 😍 I was also thinking about getting this polish, however I read a review saying that it demagnetizes rather quickly. What was your experience with that? I don't own any magnetic nail polishes so idk what to expect.

I'm sorry you had that experience :( if they pushed it back so much that the skin is detached from the nail plate it will dry out and crack more easily, so I suggest moisturizing it constantly, apply a small dab of oil and lotion after each handwash, use urea-based creams in the evening and vaseline to seal the moisture in. The nail fold tends to grow back and reattach to the nail plate, it just takes a bit of time. Good luck!

Good luck! It's always a bit rough in the beginning but I do believe that once you'll see the skin around the nails heal, you'll be even more motivated to carry on. I get that it's difficult to stop picking when it's a stress-relieving mechanism. Did you think about getting a fidged toy or stress ball to replace the picking habit?

Ok, that's interesting! Thanks a lot for sharing that! I plan on talking to my family doctor about getting some supplements. Congratulations on having a baby and good luck 💫

Ridgy uneven nails despite not picking anymore

Thanks a lot guys! My nails have ways been like that and while I was in medschool I used to ask my teachers of they though my nails are clubbed (in cardiology, rheumatology and dermathology) and they all said they're not properly clubbed. I do plan on asking my gp again tho

I used to. First 3 pics are from when I started taking care of my nails. In those pics I had just cut the PNF, that's why the fingers look inflammed. It's been almost 4 months since I stopped cutting the PNF, but the nails still grow out ridgy

This video has some really good advice on that. Good luck! https://youtu.be/N94uoUU73bw?si=tL2ez-fvScq3nvac

Ouch! Sounds painful but I hope your nails and fingers are doing okay now! Thanks a lot for the reassurance, I felt really discouraged as I saw lots of people here with what I considered far worse damage than I had, whose nails just grew out normal right after stopping the picking. Thanks again for the feedback 🌻
