Mercedes P052E issues

Working on a 2015 C300, it has the standard issue P052E code. I’ve dealt with this before on a 2017 GLC300 but it appears that the intake line with all the sensors and valves on it (MB pn 2740905600) has been discontinued with no updated part number. Is there a new part/retrofit/update available for that?

I have the oil separator (MB pn 2740180321) readily available but I’d rather not do all that work twice if it winds up being the intake line as well.

What do you guys think about this service request that I got from a Toyota dealership. Wasn’t even aware of an issue with the motor mounts

They sell genuine Mopar/Motorcraft/Honda/Hyundai/Toyota filters at Walmart now, shit’s great

Just registering a flip car eats in to profits if you’re not a dealer. So, avoid it. Of course I’ve gotten burned every time I try to flip a car so I just gave up.

Everybody saying “just buy a Honda”, this is why we don’t, 3k below MSRP for a 5 year old car with 70k miles…

It’s a beater, as long as the clutch isn’t slipping and the engine has oil it’s good enough. 🤷‍♂️

I’m not complaining at all, it’s been a great car, and I’d gladly buy a new 3 IF you could get a 2.5 turbo AWD with a manual. But they don’t make that.

Nah, I paid $1900 for it with it the way that it is now, plus rodent damage. It gets driven into the ground.

After years of being the downstairs neighbor, I graduated to upstairs. It’s good.

For being such a common car I have almost no experience with them, last one I worked on and test drove was a V6 New Edge.

My first thought. I’ve used it for exhaust manifold surfaces. If it’s done right it’ll hold 20 psi.

I felt the same when the S550 Mustangs came out, but they’ve grown on me. CoupeUVs have not.

Very true, none of my cars have working a/c and they’ll probably stay that way for the foreseeable future.

I saw an orange-goldish colored one today, that really stood out. I don’t like many new cars but the TLX is on my radar for sure.

While you make very cromulent points, the government side rescue costs are already sunk. The coast guard and navy would do training missions regardless, the sailors are already in a contract, the helicopters and planes would fly, use fuel, and require maintenance anyway.
