What is something you hated as a kid that you still hate now?
 in  r/AskReddit  15h ago

Balloons popping. Still startles the shit out of me.

Peas and celery. Some veggie I have learned to like but not peas/celery

I'm not trying to be edgy or what not; but does your cat watch you use the toilet?
 in  r/TabbyCats  21h ago

Sometimes! But not everytime. However he was watching me brush my teeth the other day and looked so concerned.

How the roommate leaves the bathroom sink. That, for some reason, barely drains.
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  1d ago

I unclogged my sink with baking soda and vinegar. It was so badly clogged I could fill it with water the night before and it'd still have a fair bit of water in it the next morning. I also plunged it a bit first but covering the overflow hole with tape.

what’s your "barista's special" drink?
 in  r/barista  5d ago

Yes. I steam the milk with the tea bag right in the milk. Exactly the same way we make our London Fog. The syrup I use for this isn't the heavy chocolate sauce but the chocolate syrup that is similar to the vanilla. We have two kinds of chocolate. A syrup and a sauce. The syrup is thinner and a little transparent. It gives a lighter hint of chocolate sweetness. Edit: its Maison Routine 1883 Chocolate Syrup.

Who has it harder - Bartenders or Baristas?
 in  r/barista  6d ago

I wouldn't want to be a bar tender. No way I want to deal with angry drunks. We do serve beer and wine, thankfully this has not been an issue in the 6 years they have been open.

Any leads to what this could be? I'm new to identifying, and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I found this in Hope, British Columbia area.
 in  r/whatsthisrock  6d ago

Wow! Looks like the one I found in Hope, but mine is palm sized and it was in the Coquilhalla river. There is tons of serpentine in Hope.

the taco bell in my hometown hasn't been updated since the 90s
 in  r/mildlyinteresting  7d ago

I love it. We don't have too many Taco Bell in Canada. I think our chain is Taco Time. Still I appreciate the 90s color scheme as a 80s/90s kid.
