My dad lost hearing in one ear a few years ago, doesn’t work construction or noisy environments, saw lots of doctors and I’m not sure if they ever diagnosed why. I’ve been making sure when I need to do loud work or where it will be loud to keep wearing ear plugs. Has not affected my enjoyment of music in the slightest and hopefully prevents the same from happening to me.
