Our Oreo is terrified of loud noise, anything touching her. She accidentally touches anything lol We got her more than 3 months now and still can't touch her at all. But she will stare at me like this when dinner is late.

I feel sorry for their children... I don't have kids but I cried so much when June decided to stay each time. It makes perfect sense to me and my husband why she stay.... We admire her courage. Only brave people can go back to that shit hole. Someone who can't understand that is either has no empathy or a coward.

S3 E13 - Mayday... the first little girl
This scene hit so bad... I grew up in South East Asia. It wasn't Christianity but the social norms for girls was "don't study too much, smart girls can't marry" or "you have to have kids, think about your poor parents wanting grandchildren". Husband-less or childless women is basically "failed women".... They drilled these thinking into our heads when we were so young, so innocent, many girls believe this....

That's a learned behavior from her Gilead days to survive... She can't just turn it off and on like a switch. I also rolled my eyes here at first but after I gave it a few days and think back about it, if June isn't the way she is, nothing will happen. No Angel flight, no getting out of Gilead... Her stubbornness is a part of her. She's not a hero. She's not a perfect person. Definitely not. She got into a relationship with a married man. This is not a story about someone becoming a hero. This is a story of a normal person who survived Gilead. We don't have to like her. We just have to accept that this is how Gilead can change a person.

I'm loving this show but it's giving me nightmares
I had nightmare for weeks when I watched the show... All those horrible scenes keep repeating in my head 😥 I had to limit to one episode per day and switch to playing relaxing games before going bed but still the nightmare was horrible...
