Silly Sakura, you need 3 East Wind tiles, not 2 Easts and a South.

It's not a Pathfinder until it's path-found something.

Is it just me or are the Substories in LAD 8 Infinite Wealth a little... off?
 in  r/yakuzagames  5d ago

LAD8 has Let It Snow, one of the absolute best substories in the entire series.

Kiwami2 2, for maximum confusion.

No, no, it stands for clown porn. Y'know, porn with clowns. That's why Bob wants it so badly.

Also, since Clown College IS a college (as the name suggests), all clowns featured are consenting adults. Just to be clear.

Elon Musk Fires Back After YouTuber Exposes Tesla’s Flaws. His Defense? 'People Don’t Shoot Lasers Out Of Their Eyes To Drive'

The Lego brick tolerance part is hilarious to me because heat makes metal expand. What, you're gonna recalibrate the entire manufacturing process every time there's a sunny day?

(Possibly rare trope) The trio consisting of tall and muscular guy, girl with strong will/temper and a twink
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  9d ago

It's foreshadowing. He's literally the prince's will manifested as a separate person.

Apparently an unpopular opinion
 in  r/masseffect  10d ago

Jacob's issue is that he actually had his own tie-in game that came out before ME2. Bioware assumed anyone who was interested played that game and therefore knows his backstory already, so they didn't see the need to have Jacob talk about his past missions.

The problem is that the game in question was a very early and very basic iOS game called Mass Effect Galaxy that has long since been delisted, so most modern ME fans don't even realize it ever existed.

Zelda Williams on her Instagram story
 in  r/ghibli  10d ago

I have literally seen my artist friend sketch a portrait on the back of a paper plate with a regular #2 pencil. If either of those things are prohibitively expensive where you live, you have much bigger issues than your art career.

As for talent, everyone sucks the first time they try to do a thing. Just practice once in a while.

Matt Mercer is a fantastic VA. That person's on crack.

Is there a lore reason Kiryu uses the Tiger Drop 800 times every game?

If you had a kickass skill that counters any attack and does tons of damage, wouldn't you be spamming it like crazy, too?

Sooo... is there some news on how to buy SQ if you live in europe?
 in  r/grandorder  16d ago

I got around it by creating a JP Google Play account with a fake JP credit card, then switched the payment method to my actual credit card. You'll need a VPN for the initial setup, but once that's done you're good to go.

"Hold a minute, THIS IS CANON/OFFICIAL!?" and stuff that's too absurd to believe even for where it comes from.
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  16d ago

Lostbelts are odd because they're technically non-canon from an in-universe perspective. They're timelines that went so far off the rails that reality itself wiped them from existence, and that gives them a lot more freedom for weird off-the-wall stuff like sentient soccer-playing dinosaurs armed with machine guns.

Unfortunately, Infinite Wealth negates Infinite Health because paper beats rock.

How would they even verify that? Anything that officially proves your identity is probably NOT safe to upload to some random website.

Drifting Street Surfers around corners sounds like a blast, now that I think about it. Majima could use his RPG launcher from the ship to attack other racers.

When tragic stories have a canon AU where everyone is happy
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  23d ago

Eh, I'd say it's less "action" and more "wacky slapstick comedy hijinx." Still way happier than the source material.

I do love me some Emiya Gohan, though.

Also Carnival Phantasm. To quote TV Tropes:

The Nasuverse is a setting filled with an immense amount of backstory, an extremely complicated set of rules for its Functional Magic, and protagonists who sometimes have to ask hard questions about themselves and the people around them. In any given work, death, deceit, and betrayal abounds.

But let's ignore all of that and focus on the characters involved having fun!
