Idk why but the AI will always favor having a hitmonchan in the frontline even if it has a gabite which is effectively the same thing, doesn't matter whether i use psychic or grass, and it gets a hutmonchan in the starting hand WAYYYYYY too consistently

It works but you'd have to get lucky, IMO the best way to set this up is using onix, brock and dawn, but that's already two turns and three specific cards to get one extra energy on a stage 2 mon so it'd be very inconsistent

Hoenn doesn't have too much water, rather the problem is that you'll always get wingull or tentacool if you surf pretty much anywhere so giving water routes different numbers is redundant, bring more flying/water pokemon to the sea and we're golden

Basically you want to use it after any deck shuffling cards (currently, just the pokeball) because in a psychic deck the only ones that don't hit are bricks 90% of the time (unless of course it's a research, tough luck) so the deck is effectively one card less even if you don't draw that card

as for the order between a slab and a research it's whatever you're feeling, will it hit a psychic before or after the draw 2?
