This is perhaps the most egregious offense I have seen and it’s only on the NA servers. Spoiler alert: the host never kicked tan. White was also being an ass and asking me to spell out what the username was because they “couldn’t see it,” and yes I told them it was the n-word.

As for lime, it’s less offensive, but there are still young children who play. They shouldn’t have to be exposed to unsavory language because other people want to be edgy or funny.

There has to be better safeguards against this. It’s unacceptable. If you want to say a slur so bad, do it on a private server.

They always tell the other who killed them, or they team. They're just a nuisance. Why can't y'all be single smh.

Was just playing in an ‘expert’ lobby, other imp wasn’t killing but I didn’t really care. I selfed in o2 and stated the location of the body, as you do. The other imp starts saying that me and them were safe and currently in reactor. Unsurprisingly no one caught on and we won. I find this funny but I’d probably find it abit less funny if we had lost.

Overall it is still really annoying, it’s hard to find lobbies that actually challenge you as an imp or as crew. If you get shapeshifter you’ve already won.

Rewriting this whole thing cuz it got automatically taken down for mentioning the recent h-ck outside the new megathread and I didn’t think to copy it before posting ;-; (words will be bleeped accordingly to avoid this happening again)

Ok so, a lot of us have been getting h-cked at an unprecedented scale these last couple days. Previously we had a group called “P-rasite Central,” but they weren’t even close to this level. Here I will be detailing what I did to avoid getting h-cked (spoiler, it worked).

One more thing to preface before I start, I was playing with a discord group, so we had a baseline of 7 people when we opened the lobby to the public, I can’t help you if you are starting a lobby alone and are unable to get players.

1) B-nning everyone with a generic name and no cosmetics.

This is one that I am less sure whether it actually had an effect, but it is something I did, so I thought mentioning it would be prudent. This also helps with getting rid of the many noobs now ending up in lobbies after the new upd-te.

2) Opening on an interval

What I did was open the lobby for about 20 seconds, or until someone joined, before immediately setting it to private again. After that a few more people would trickle in because the lobby appeared on their list before I set it to private. Once they joined I would wait about a minute and b-n anyone who said st-rt, was rude, etc. after that I would repeat the previous steps until we filled up the lobby.

Obviously this strategy isn’t perfect, and h-ckers may still get in, but seeing as yesterday I got h-cked 7 times and today it didn’t happen once, despite people who joined our lobby saying they had been getting h-cked in all their previous lobbies, it seems pretty viable. It’s unfortunate that we have to do this at all, but that’s just how it is rn. Through this method my friends and I were able to have fun and enjoy the lobby without h-cker interference. Noobs were still a problem, but with a l-beral (won’t let me post with political terms in) amounts of b-nning we were able to get most of them out.

I left the game for a few years , I came back yesterday skeld is reversed , is that part of the game now and I can’t change it or there is a fix for it?

We are in the year 2025, and still to this day there is no Streamer mode for any platform except for PC, Innersloth have to realise that PC isn't the only existent platform for gaming, because if they are only going to add it on ONE PLATFORM they might as well have not added it at this point...🤦🏼‍♂️😭

Genuinely this game is 1000% better when you are playing with people on discord that have mics. A lot of the issues you guys have in public lobbies are things that NEVER happen in private games with a full lobby of people. If I had never switched to discord I would have stopped playing in 2021, instead of racking up 4000 hours playing in discord lobbies with decent players. Go google 'among us discord' and join the largest server, I promise you'll have a much better experience

So I made a safe chat server wondering if I could save the server. The numbers increased 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. At 10 i started. It was a normal among us game. That didn't get cut short by hackers. Meaning safe chat is the way to save the game from hackers.

Because the hacking although rampant seems to be not working as they want anymore, they spam their shit and disappear with maybe one or two kicks, but I've lost 7 crew games in a row because a low level player will accuse me, I'll explain how they're wrong, including how 3 players saw me do weapons/trash/etc and name drop those players only to be voted out because those players either don't know what a visual is or is doing it out of spite.

Like take two or three games ago last night, I got accused by blue, but I said I'd done a visual, green saw, green confirmed. Green dies, blue thinks green being dead magically makes me an imp or something, blue even sees two of me with one imp left and still won't shut up. He gets voted out, surprise he's not an imp. Crew turns on me, and I'm getting annoyed now, "Why can't you people grasp a simple fact that I'm clear? I've lost 4 games in a row because crew refuse to listen and think trolling is fun. Voted out.

Host had the balls to blame me for the loss, I was laughing when the hackers popped in and shut down the lobby. Serves them right for being pricks.

sometimes when starting a match the screen will go black for everybody and only the host is able to load in/ move around is this new?

You currently enter a server, the match starts, and you get to be as the impostor with another imp. (note: there are no oth. roles, kill cooldown is about 20 seconds or so, and 2 imps max). You get clean kills including one double kill wit your teammate and get a clear win, pretty simple, right? On the second match, youre once again the impostor (even with the same teammate), that time you lose, no big deal. Then you get 3rd impostor in a row, the second is different but you get in quite suspicion that something ain't up in your luck, you try to avoid that but the server already finds out about it being weird (tho they dont take it too seriously), obviously match ends at a defeat. Then comes the 4th impostor turn... Now think about this, you've been lucky to get 4 IMPOSTOR ROLES IN A ROW, you unfortunately quit this one because of you and server knowing this insane luck. THEN YOU GET IMPOSTOR FOR THE 5TH TIME. You thankfully dont take this seriously, but genuinely you were pretty impressed by that luck, and thankfully the rest of the matches are just you being a crewmate.

So tell me... If you got this luck, what and how would you say about this in this subreddit?

Note: this came from the experience from me, almost everything I just sayd is true and real. So you can rather just say it about my luck if you want.

For those struggling to find public games in the NA region, use EU. I’ve just played many games under EU region and it worked phenomenally. No bots or hackers. Until InnerSloth fixes this, this would be the best option for public games. Other alternatives would be to join a discord server and find other players there. But if you’re anything like me and like to play with randos, use EU! I’m playing on iOS so idk if that makes a difference. This is just what I’ve seen personally so… yeah.

TLDR; NA servers are hacked. EU is clean. I haven’t tested Asia yet.
