and regarding campaign financing Harris spent $500 millions more they clearly got way more donations. Not to mention her campaigns started way later than Trump but that's beside the point
It wasn’t about voting. It was about campaign contributions and if you read what the ai said. It said trump got more direct campaign contributions but harris got more influence contributions through super pacs that can’t coordinate with the campaign
"Explain why the majority of the richest Americans have been donating to the Democrats more than the Republicans over the past 10 years."
was the original comment you replied to. so yes it's about donations not about voting.... and no I'm not going to read AI slop when you refuse to even read the original comment you replied to
You really need to learn to read the data for yourself and make conclusions by going through the critical thinking process brother... AI is a tool when used right but you can't just take whatever it spits out without thinking
no they don't "think"... what these LLM does is just predict the most likely next word based on the context.. think of it as a very large autocomplete... it's amazing how much it can do ofc but you shouldn't think the current AI as having any real cognitive abilities
Yeah tom scott said it just predicts the next word but isn’t that how humans talk? Doesn’t the brain tell the mouth what to say next or tell the fingers what to type next? It is very close to a turing test. You can ask it any question and it will come back with a very reasoned answer that is better and more inclusive than what the average human can come up with? Like everything in life it comes down to semantics and what do words mean or the meaning of words. What is cognitive ability? How do you define “think”?
You can't use AI without thinking due to things like; try googling "can you drink coffee 8 days a week?"
It will come back and tell you "yes." They might have fixed the wording on it after the time it got memed on - but if it will fuck up on something as simple as days of the week, then what chance has it got to get critical financial information correct?
If you can find an extra day in the week, sure. Otherwise, you might just be really over-caffeinated.
Critical financial information is a lot easier to do for a computer than the complex nuances of human language
It is a lot better with math and logic then the insanity and insane illogical inventions of humans
Isaac Newton had reportedly exclaimed, when asked about the direction of stock markets, "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of the people."

Don’t paste from AI it’s the quickest way to get people to disengage from you. And it’s just plain lazy.
