And of course when baby begins to walk for the first, they very strong and steadily stand themselves from the floor and walk a few feet. Everything checks out.

I’m not saying this video is real, because of so many other things, but my eldest child’s first steps were to walk across the whole of our front room whilst watching TV and eating a chew toy. Got it on film and everything.

I’ve heard from some of the teachers at my kid’s daycare, that sometimes kids are walking there weeks if not months before they start doing it at home. They don’t tell the parents because they don’t want to ruin the moment for them. Not saying that’s what happened with yours, but I never really thought about the possibility of some “firsts” happening at daycare without me knowing.

I know exactly what nursery workers mean when they say “I think they are nearly ready to X”. It’s a kind lie that we are both in on.

Apparently my youngest has been using the bathroom at daycare for weeks and we had no idea. He’s only used it twice at home and it wasn’t easy. Really kid?
