Greetings, I can normally run Bloodborne on shadps4 and play it kinda well. I recently tried to install Randomizer mod on it, searching up different guides and videos. I use mod organizer and I tried to generate a randomized world, which initially seems to work, due to the fact that the first enemies and the first drops are different form the usually. But as soon as I try to create a new seed and start a new game I have always the same world with same randomized enemies. Furthermore, initials weapons and shops items are not randomized even if checked the option. Any suggestions?

I never had a Playstation so I didn't get to experience this masterpiece until now. I started out with a Strength focused build but I decided to replay the game but with a Skill/Bloodtinge build (I had just defeated Micolash when I decided this) because I just enjoyed the game so much. Truly incredible, huge shout out to the shadPS4 team and the modding community for making it possible to play the game!

For those who are interested in my setup:

AMD CPU (Ryzen 7 5800x)

AMD GPU (Radeon 6700XT)

Mods:

* Jump on L3

* Full Cloth Physics with Blood

* Vertex Explosion Fix

* Drawparam Collection (NO AA, SSAO, Color Grading, DOF, etc)

Patches:

* 60 FPS

* Disable Chromatic Aberration

* Disable Motion Blur

* Disable HTTP requests

* Disable vsync

Every tutorial I look at says to set it to nightly. I've never ever seen this option despite downloading from the link everyone posts I've tried installing this a few times, and can get it running but come across minor issues, that I feel this could potentially resolve.

The game was running perfectly fine up until I had invisible enemies just past the first cinderblock fist guy where the dogs are. Did some googling and found it was related to either vertex of sfx fixes. I re-applied the fixes, and then the game started crashing as if I didn't have the vertex of sfx fixes applied.

Not sure where to go from here.

I finally got the game running today and it looks awesome for the most part, but I am getting constant frame dips (shadps4 claims its going to the 40s but it feels a lot lower)

Does anybody have shadps4 diegolix build version 0.5 or 0.6? There's no option to download older versions on his repository. I can download shadps4 branch's older builds but they dont have support for KB+M. It ran great on my system on 0.5 version but with the latest 0.7 it has extreme stuttering and kind of unplayable. Can somebody please help me out.

I just finally figured out all the stuff to make it run and ive been playing for like 30 mins but im worried because idk if the DLC installed and i do not wanna do it all again to get it to work. It says my game size is 29.3 GBs with the 1.09 patch.

I have played BB with shadps4 on my desktop for a bit, it's a 9900k system with a 4070ti, works well and looks great. I have an upcoming trip and wants to play it on the go, so I installed the official 0.7.0 build on my GPD win Max 2 with a 6800u apu. I've seen some vids of BB running on Steamdeck mostly stable 30fps, which has an apu with less and older CPU core, less iGPU shader unit than the 6800u's iGPU with the same architecture, so I figured it would just run. But nope, it's running way worse, mostly in the low 20s and stutters like hell. I see the GPU utilisation is max and the 6800u is running at the maximum 28w, so I'm not sure if I can squeeze more performance out of it.

Is there like a hack build with better performance? Or is it a windows limitation? I have a spare m.2 slot and SSD on my hand, I can install Bazzite dual boot if that's needed.

A few days ago i finished The one Reborn and went to Nightmare of Mensis. Only thing i did there was take the first lamp then left to explore regions i forgot. Today went back to that region throught the Lecture building 2nd floor and when i tried to get to the lamp my game crashed.

I always had a few crashes here and there, nothing too bad, but at Mensis, just right after the silver beast, my entire pc just freezes, i can't even force the game to shut down.

Is there a way to fix it? Can i go back to hunters dream without a lamp? hunters mark just take me to the beggining of the level.

Hey y'all, I've been enjoying playing through this game (for the umpteenth time) in shadps4. My PC is pretty mid (Ryzen 5900HS CPU) but in most areas I get about 45 fps, which is much better than the console version. I haven't experienced any crashes or major glitches, and I've played through the entire base game by now.

However my framerate seems to tank whenever I enter any of the Nightmare areas. Performance was a bit choppy in Nightmare Frontier (and my PC hard-locked a couple times) but I was able to get through it. In Nightmare of Mensis my framerate would drop a lot when I looked in certain directions (towards the Brain, maybe?) but I managed.

Now I'm trying to play the DLC and it's basically unplayable. I drop below 10 fps in Hunter's Nightmare all over the place. What's the deal? Is there a mod that fixes this?

I'm not running any mods aside from the 60 fps patch, chromatic aberration/dof disabled, vertex explosion fix, and 60 fps sound fix.

I've seen a mod that integrates some modded and cut content chalice glyphs into the game, but can we use just any glyphs, like from different farming guides?

I cant map them in the controller settings of the emulator. I used rewasd which worked but rewasd only works for free for 7 days plus the mapping of the bloodborne config for it that i used had a giant issue with not being able the change which button I used to to dodge. I use L shift for every game that has a dodge but changing it wasn’t possible for some reason and dodge was hard stuck on space bar instead. This was major issue cus I can’t adjust to using space for dodge. Is there any alternatives to re wasd that are free and also have a bloodborne config?

In he middle of playing the game and just realised I dont how to do this basic thing.

I have the cutscene fixed and it’s not crashing at any cutscenes, but instead while fighting logarius it crashed twice seemingly out of nowhere sometime in 2nd phase. now when I reload the save I crash if I stay in Cainhurst and don’t immediately run and teleport back to the hunters dream. Already tried a fresh install. Using version 0.7.1 tried 0.7.0 and was the same. Also tried the diegobb build and it crashed no matter what for me.

Anyone have tried on legion go recently? I tried 2 3 months ago it was not good enough for me to continue, if anyone is playing on legion go handheld please share your settings and mods you have installed.

Hey, so you want to play the legendary game but on something not nearly 15 years old well heres how

Step one (could take 60-120 minutes solely due to the download speed)

First download shad ps4 4.0 from the official site https://shadps4.net/downloads/

You will have to select 4.0 from the dropdowns and download the QT GUI version for your respective unit

Once downloaded it will say hey were should we put games and saves, put them in a folder you will be able to access easily as you will need these files later on

Now, here's where I can't help, as sailing the high seas is an intolerable offense, but here's what I will say to aid you.

If you are from America, the version set here for Bloodborne is the complete edition, if in the EU it is the GOTY edition

You will see many options likely depending on what way youre getting the files but note you will need these 2 files and maybe 3, these being MAIN GAME, UPDATE 1.09, and possibly DLC

Once the files are on the computer open up shad ps4 and hit the file icon in the top left and hit extract pkg

extract the MAIN GAME FIRST, then the UPDATE, then DLC

Once done you have the main step done and can technically play for like 2 seconds. which is why the next step is necessary for the game to work

Step two (Should only take 15 minutes max unless something went terribly wrong)

Download Shad Ps4 version 7.0 https://shadps4.net/downloads/
(Reason for the redownload is I don't trust the in-app updater so a fresh download is better)

It will ask for a place for games I RECOMMEND you put it in a place that is easy to access (For later), Same With the saves

Put the files ( Should be Cusa00900 or the other Cusa00******) that you got from step one or already have into the games folder YOU JUST ASSIGNED and it should show up that you have bloodborne if not it means you may have downloaded a virus or you moved the wrong files Again the files should be Cusa00900 or the other regions Cusa file

Before moving on there's some things in the settings I think you should do

Firstly go to the general tab and select update channel and change it to full souls (this is the stable version of the emulator)

Second hit check for updates while there cause whilst 7.0 is the most recent it might not be by the time you do it

Third Go to the Input tab and select Hide cursor then Always for hide cursor

Fourth go to the graphics tab nd select 2 things Disply mode FullScreen and the select Graphics device and the one you are using

Lastly if you are playing on a PS5 controller go to the inputs tab and disble motion controls otherwise you will taunt constantly (whilst funny sucks during combat)

NEXT

right click on bloodborne and select cheats/patches

it will open up a window select patches up top
at the bottom select bloodborne.xml | shadps4

here's what I recommend you click

skip intro

disable chromatic aberration
disable motion blur

disable HTTP requests
60 FPS (With Delta Time)

I DO NOT RECCOMEND CHANGING RESOLUTION
this is not for performance but because you will not be able to play the game at 1440p there are missing and broken textures with the higher res options only missing more and breaking more.

After that comes the trial and error stage of crashing

Step three (Could take 2 minute could take a hour)

Heres what I have found for mods you will likely need (I will explain how to install in step 4)
BUT BEFORE TESTING make a duplicate cusa folder incase the mod doesn't work or you cant get the game to work

IF your character is having triangles or textures just come out of you in a annoying fashion you will need this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/109

If you can hit things but they cant hit you, no you don't need to do a no hit % heres what you need

If you have a 12gen intel and above or a amd CPU(cant verify I don't have one) this might work, didn't for me but might for others https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/41?tab=files choose the final version

The other option is this https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/70?tab=files I would just choose the top option as I have personally not tested 60 fps cutscenes and people seem to have issues with it

Theres also other mods for performance on nexus if you cant play it at 60

Step 4 (take roughly 20 minutes)

Once the mods are on the PC they will likely all have a file labeled DVDroot_ps4 to install the mod head to your bloodborne file your going to play and paste the files over where the previous DVDroot_ps4 file is located

Now here's the issue with some of these mods you cant hear anything

If that's the case go into the duplicate bloodborne files I told you to make earlier go into DVDroot_ps4, then sfx, next copy these two files to get sound back in the game

frpg_sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd.dcx These fixed hitting and punching sounds

AND

frpg_sfxbnd_m28_00.ffxbnd.dcx These fixed menu and footstep sounds

Now that you copied those paste them into the playable bloodborne folder via DVDroot_ps4, then sfx and paste

Every single time I try to launch bloodborne, with multiple different PKGs from different sources, it crashes instantly and closes the emulator. If anybody has encountered this issue, some help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone i have a question The game runs fine some random crashes here and there but nothing major but i have a problem where the textures in game are flickring not just envirmoent but on some bosses like the blood starved beast, what could be the issue and how to fix it thanks

As the title says, my character models clothes don’t flow as I run, the long jackets are stiff and you can see my character models legs run through them as I am moving. Has anyone else experienced this and know which additional mod I should install?

I want to play bloodborne in of and to do that I want to download it legally from my PlayStation and out the file into shadps4

Got the game set up running at 1440p 30fps with subtle reshade and the enhanced mod.

Everything running great for about an hour and now as soon as I hit an enemy I crash.

Bumped the resolution down and this stopped it but it was running perfectly prior to this.

Is there anything else I could try?

Specs are 3090 I7-10700k 32gb ram.
