My family and I had a lovely day at the zoo. At one of the exhibits my toddler was... Well, toddling around.
He was in arms reach of his mom and I was about ten feet further up the path watching him as well.
A boomer lady then comes storming around the corner with an empty pushchair. Halts in front of him then starts huffing, scowling and shaking her head at him, mumbling insults under her breath. At a toddler.
My son is very smiley and isn't used to this kind of response from people. He paused a second them stepped to the side looking a bit confused by the whole thing.
Bear in mind he didn't need to step aside, this woman had plenty of room to go around him. Not to mention that he was there first. And it was a place you could stop and look at animals, so people doing so should be expected!
As she approached me I saw red and said loudly "what's this, a grown adult surprised to find children at a zoo?!" She wouldn't even look at me let alone respond, so as she passed by I called after her "what's the matter, only willing to bully small children, not adults?"
God the cowardice of some people pisses me off! Sorry had to rant and get it off my chest.
A man she was with at least had the decency to look embarrassed and apologetic on her behalf though.
